STRAAT celebrates a wide variety of styles, shapes, techniques and messages, as told by the greatest art movement of our time: street art. The ever-changing exhibition at Amsterdam's Museum for Graffiti & Street art kicks off before you even walk through the doors. On the outside of the building you will find a gigantic multicolored portrait of Anne Frank. Artists from all over the world have traded their murals in the streets of New York, Tokyo and São Paulo for a more traditional medium. Nothing has been sacrificed in terms of size; their canvases remain life-size, as do the stories and lives of the artists who brought their work here.

We visited STRAAT as it was included with the IAmsterdam City Card and loved it. It’s a fantastic museum featuring a wide range of street art across multiple floors. The location is easy to reach, just a short walk from the ferry at Amsterdam Central Station. Free lockers are available, and there’s a lovely café on site. A must-see for art lovers.

A really cool and different museum experience focused on street art. The museum itself was not busy when I visited and was easy to move through at a relaxed pace. I happened to be there the same day as the sailing event that takes place every five years, which created a lot of excitement and energy in the surrounding area. The space is impressive and the artwork is bold and easy to appreciate, even if you’re not deeply into art. Definitely worth the trip if you’re looking for something outside the typical museum experience.

We went to this museum without expecting much, and frankly it was phew. Gigantic canvases all over this old factory really gives a great feeling. For a price that seems frankly reasonable, we are satisfied!

Those interested in street art and graffiti cannot avoid the STRAAT. It is also worth exploring the surrounding area on the former shipyard site.

On 12/13, Saturday at 10:52 PM, I was booking a ticket for STRAAT Museum to visit on Sunday, 12/14. You had a system glitch, and you booked a ticket for 12/13, Saturday. On Saturday, Museum closes at 5:00PM, so that ticket is useless. I called and tried to explain two of your representatives and the person said they CANNOT do anything, as I booked it for 12/13. How does that make sense? When I asked for manager to help, all of a sudden, call had issues and it was disconnected

Amazing museum within an old warehouse. Artworks are huge and area is spacious so you can wander around as much as you like. Really enjoyed it and would not hesitate to visit when I am back in Amsterdam

This is absolutely amazing! We loved this place, it was so vibrant and a great place to see so much talent. The venue itself was amazing too, a lovely old warehouse with the original machinery still in place, a wonderful backdrop for all of the artworks. The cafe was good too and we had the best coffee there than any other place in Amsterdam! The memory will be with us forever as the highlight of our stay in Amsterdam, thank you xx

Beautiful museum with beautiful gigantic works. See if you're on Amsterdam. Note that it is not possible to pay in cash and that it is better not to leave your coat to the deposit as it is quite cold in the museum.

They say art is subjective so whilst I would say there wasn't a lot that I enjoyed someone else could be having the best time. My favourites (at the time of my visit) were the Bob in Crazy- DavidL Unconscious- Odeith
