The Sunset Tour offers an unforgettable experience at two of the most iconic lakes in the Canadian Rockies — Lake Louise and a second lake that changes with the seasons. During summer, the journey continues to Moraine Lake, where the golden glow of sunset reflects off the turquoise waters and the Valley of the Ten Peaks shines in hues of amber and rose.
In winter, the adventure leads to Minnewanka Lake, where snow-covered mountains and pastel skies create a serene, dreamlike panorama as daylight fades. Traveling along the scenic Bow Valley Parkway, you may even spot local wildlife such as elk, deer, or bears along the way. Whether you visit under the warm light of summer or the tranquil stillness of winter, each sunset in Banff reveals a different side of the Rockies’ timeless beauty.

This tour requires a minimum of 8 people to proceed. If the minimum number is not reached, we reserve the right to cancel the tour for that day and will inform travelers the day before departure.

2.00The experience was more like an expensive bus drop off. It was not a tour. You can actually take public transportation and see both lakes.
Sunset tour was cancelled. So they sent us a star gazing tour and for $300 definitely not worth it.

1.00We had two stops. Was not even at the lakes mentioned in the tour. No stars at first location. 10 min stop. And 30 min stop for 2 nd location. I do not recommend this to anyone. Not worth your money

5.00We did the sunset tour and it was so pretty. When we arrived at Morraine Lake we climbed the rock pile last and my husband and I were the only ones up there. Our driver William was fantastic !!!

5.00I received a note that they didn’t meet the minimum for the group tour and they were very accommodating and offered a private tour option. Kenny was our tour guide who picked us up in Calgary and ensured we had a wonderful experience for the few hours we had available. We rode the Banff Gondola, spent some time shopping in Banff Town and saw the sunset at Lake Louise. As a bonus, on the ride back we caught a glimpse of the Northern Lights which don’t usually reach this far south. Hands down, book the tour! You will have no regrets and thank you for everything.
