In a +100 years old house and with our Host Belen and her team of “Asadoras” - all women grillers- , you’ll learn how to prepare an authentic ASADO/ Barbecue Argentino. You will enjoy the class in the house that has been from the same family for three generations. As part of this class, you will learn about different cuts of meat, prepare the traditional Chimichurri Sauce and enjoy delicious Malbec Wine.

This activity recreates the Asado in a unique location, our +100 years old family house in Belgrano, a residencial neighbourhood in Buenos Aires. It's a three hours hands on experience and an opportunity to learn the secrets behind cooking around the fire like an argentinian. Google ‘The Asado Experience’ and book through our website please. You will enjoy different cuts of premium meat selection accompanied by argentine wine. You will learn how argentines eat Asado, grilling on the PARRILLA - the grill. With our secrets, you will also learn how to season the Choripan preparing the famous and infallible Chimichurri Sauce. While we make this introduction you will taste the most premium argentine Choripan. You will learn the secret of fire, cooking time, textures and how to cook different terms of the meat using unique techniques. Then you will taste Morcilla (blood sausage), Molleja (sweetbreads) and Pork Matambrito and we will conclude eating a main cut of premium meat/ steak (tenderloin) with roasted vegetables. Of course you cannot miss the tasting of the best Argentine wine. Finally, you will taste an Argentine 'dulce de leche' dessert. You will enjoy it for sure!

From the moment you enter the house of Bethlehem you feel a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The sympathy with steakhouses speaks makes you want to stay chatting about life all night. They carry the flow beautifully. The roast is spotless although I would have liked to find a second cut of meat. The house gives off hospitality and the night flies by! It was the ideal occasion to share an experience with my American boss and his family. They loved it!!!

Josephine and Delphina were great hosts. Very knowledgeable and friendly. They were great at explaining everything from the importance of asado in the Argentine culture as well as every cut of meat and how to properly cook it. The home was very welcoming and I they paired good wines with the foods.

We had heard a lot of fantastic things about "The Asado Experience" from some of our friends who live in Argentina, so as someone who loves eating steak I thought that we have to give it a go. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed to Belen's home (which is historic and beautiful) and were given a brief overview of her family heritage which was incredibly interesting! Then we were offered a glass of Argentine Wine, Beer, or Softdrink and got into the class (from here the drinks were flowing, I never had an empty glass). We went through all the premium cuts of beef that we were going to cook & eat today and learnt extensively about how the team at Asado Exp choose the cuts and why and also we learnt about the the asado process (from how to start the fire and maintain the embers then how to prepare the meats and how much coal/ wood to use etc). It was so informative but it was also relaxed, if you want to sit back and enjoy - no problem and if you wanted to work on the grill then great!, any questions that we had were answered with expertise by Belen and her team. I could go on and on about how great the experience was, but just go and see for yourself! Thanks so much to the team for accomodating us, we were a group of 3 and the exp is designed for a few more people as the chosen cuts of meat for cooking are designed to share with 3++ people but that also was no issue for the team. I will be back in December <3

Lovely and awesome experience: from the beginning learning all the world that surrounds the Asado, and then tasting incredible meat. The girls that runs these lunch are wonderful, professionals and very easy going people. Recommend the asado experience to every single person!

I traveled with a friend to Argentina for a ten day stay. When we arrived at The Asado Experience, it was so much better than I had imagined. In this life few things are better than expected. The setting, the food and of course our delightful Asadora or grill master Sophie. Not a day went by on our trip that we didn’t refer back to that magical night. And it was more than dinner for us. We both consider ourselves to be good cooks. Yet the slow and precise cooking method took us by surprise. Such a different approach to cooking meats than is standard in my country (USA). The value is very ckear. Do it !

As an Argentinian I can assure you this is the best asado I’ve ever had in my life. First off, I felt 100% welcomed from the moment I stepped in the house, and the set up made it easy to look into the parrilla and learn the techniques that were being taught to us. Topi was a great hostess, making us feel comfortable, showing us every cut of the asado, explaining everything in detail, answering our questions and cracking jokes with us. The food was excellent, with the best cuts of an asado being presented to us and explained in a way it made us all eager to know more everytime. The cuts were cooked to perfection, accompanied by delicious Argentinian wines and we got to make our own sauce of chimichurri!! I’ll make sure I try it at home. Later we ate an Argentinian much loved dessert, the perfect way to finish the asado. Now for the most important part of an asado: the people. The hostess, Topi, did a great job introducing herself and breaking the ice between us. I got to meet new people and make new friends from the UK. We got to know each other, we ate and laughed together having time of our life's during the asado!! In conclusion, we finished the experience with great food in our bellys, a lot of cooking learned, and new international friends!! If you’re looking for an experience of a real asado as an argentinian would have it, with all the traditions explained, this is the experience for you.

We had such a brilliant evening. Lots of great chat, amazing food, lovely wine. It's a really fun way to spend an evening and we learned lots about how to perfectly cook various cuts. Topy was an amazing host and made the whole evening a memorable one. Dale boca!
