The light of Saint Nicholas is a set of three intervententions that, through different artistic languages, review the key events in the history of the Parish, projects a new vision on its emblematic baroque dome and honour our patron saint.
The interactive exhibition "The Heartbeat of Saint Nicholas" traces the history of the building and the place where it stands since the times of Roman Valentia.
The audiovisual installation "Lux ex Oriente" is a creative interpretation of the symbols that characterise the iconic figure of Saint Nicholas.
The immersive projection "Homage to Beauty" is a fresh, respectful and documented look that puts the light, music and 21st century technology at the service of the timeless and inspiring beauty of the baroque ornamentation of the Valencian Sistine Chapel.
The projections are shown hourly starting at 11:00.
Visits will be allowed until 1 hour before the church closes.

Church is beautiful - but the light show is over priced, endless, overcrowded, goes on forever and has disappointingly piped music. Cut the price of tickets in half and let us visit in peace without the light show! The ceiling is beautiful and speaks for itself; it does not need projections of flowers and angels to make the experience better.

The Church of San Nicolás de Bari y San Pedro Mártir is one of the most beautiful surprises in Valencia. From the outside it may look like a simple church, but as soon as you enter you will be speechless: the completely frescoed vaults are spectacular, a riot of colors and details that really recall the Sistine Chapel in Rome. The restoration was excellently done, and the audio guides (included in the ticket) clearly explain the history of the church, the frescoes and the two saints to whom it is dedicated. The atmosphere is intimate and suggestive, perfect for enjoying art in silence. I recommend the light show and projections lasting 15 minutes, wonderful. Find out before you go in.

This is the most beautiful display I’ve ever seen in a church in my life. Don’t miss the opportunity to see this piece of art.

The Sistine Chapel of Valencia, despite the price of its visit, does not disappoint, somewhat, because of the richness of its beautiful Baroque decorations and, above all, its splendid wall paintings. Magnificent also some Gothic altarpieces, such as the Calvary altarpiece, by Rodrigo de Osona (1476). Instead, the light show I consider expendable. Audio guides are very useful, in several languages, included in the price. Attention, we must remember very well the number of the street (Cavallers, 37) as the entrance may go unnoticed, especially if you take the street in a west-east direction.

Sensational over the top baroque decoration. The light show is unnecessary. The audio guide is informative. Well worth the entry fee.

Do not miss this experience! We thought this was hands down the best experience in all of Spain. The audio guide was very informative and then the lights went down and the real show began. It was spectacular.

It's really worth it. Lots of art in church. One of the most beautiful I've ever seen. And I've already seen at least 10 or 15 in Italy.

Around an alley, an opening to a magical world, a magnificent scenography that highlights instead of masks! Small flat on the 18€ note
