Ready for a long review? :) Before booking the experience, we communicated with Jordan via WhatsApp because we needed some flexibility with timing. Jordan went above and beyond to accommodate our needs so we could book the experience. He met my husband and myself at the exact place he indicated and we felt the calm, positive energy right away. He's originally from Jamaica and his English is impeccable so that was a plus as my husband loves to ask lots of questions! We started at 9 am heading towards Mt. Takao while he was telling us a bit about the culture in Japan, showing us some interesting sites on the way and making sure we agreed with all the options planned. The short visit to the Museum was interesting and worth it. This is a 1/2 day experience that requires lots of walking and going up stairs; we love hiking and going on long walks so this was perfect for us, but know that there will be walking required and Jordan can customize a bit the difficulty of the journey. The visit to the Temples is really nice while Jordan explains the meanings, history and customary practices, we thoroughly enjoyed it! We had lunch at a typical soba noodle spot and rode from there to the Hot Spring Site. This experience is incredible! So relaxing and well earned after the hike! It really represents much of the Japanese culture! Jordan was so nice in giving us lots of recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing in Tokyo, off the beaten path spots and even Japanese words to get by! We highly recommend booking with him! Thanks Jordan for your kindness!

Jordan was super friendly and went above and beyond to make this a great tour. The bathhouse he took me to was fantastic and just the relaxation I needed. The soba was delicious as well.

Tour guide had good knowledge of the history of Mt Takao and a passion for the area. English speaking. It’s a good hike with plenty of stairs. The views are wonderful on a clear day. The Temple is spectacular and the monkey park is a nice side stop on your way to the top. The ramen was excellent.
