Your guide will meet you at the tourist office, to kick off your visit with a panoramic tour around Toledo, stopping at the Mirador del Valle viewpoint, before moving on to the guided walking tour. After the tour, and depending on the option you choose, your will be taken back to your hotel in Madrid, or if you prefer, you will have 3 hours of free time to have lunch, walk around on your own, or go shopping in Toledo, before returning to Madrid. The 3-hour guided tour is a walk through the Christian, Jewish and Muslim quarters, visiting the main monuments, such as the cathedral, the mosque or the synagogues.

We will start the guided tour with the panoramic view of Toledo from the viewpoint of El Valle, considered one of the most impressive views in the world, where you will have time to take pictures or just enjoy the unforgettable views.
Casco Historico de Toledo
Toledo is one of the oldest and most beautifully preserved cities in Spain, home to monuments, museums and works of art that span millennia – from Roman ruins to spectacular Gothic cathedrals, mosques and synagogues, as well as narrow cobbled streets and romantic squares. Our guided tour is a walk through the Christian, Jewish and Muslim quarters, with stops at the Alcázar, the mosque, the synagogues and the 13th-century cathedral. We will also explore the fantastic work of El Greco, complete with a visit to his masterpiece, The Burial of the Count of Orgaz, at the Church of Santo Tomé. The tour is rounded out with a visit to exclusive underground spaces and archaeological remains and many more magical places. *Entrance fees not included Your guide will recommend the main monuments you can visit, but if you have a special cultural or religious preference, let us know and that’s where we’ll focus our efforts to make a tailor-made visit just for you.

5.00The perfect tour of Toledo. Great communications, spotless limousine, friendly and knowledgable driver and professional guide, and custom tour. Note this tour is a full immersion into the history of Toledo, the views are spectacular, and the walking tour is almost exclusively down hill. This was important as one of our group had some mobility issues. Far exceeded our expectations, and we would do this tour again.

5.00We were a party of 4 who did a day trip to Toledo from Madrid. Our driver Javier had a large modern Mercedes van with the trip taking 1 hour. In Toledo we had a local guide Natalia for 3 hours. Her knowledge and passion for Toledo was amazing. Toledo is a well preserved medieval walled city which has stood still in time. There are small winding cobblestoned streets with beautiful small shops. The visit to the old Sephardic synagogue and large gothic cathedral were excellent. We would highly recommend this tour which is one of the best tours we have done in our many travels.
