Kanto Lampo Waterfall

Kanto Lampo Waterfall didn’t always exist in its current form. The waterfall owes its creation largely to human activity rather than natural geological processes alone. The area was initially home to an irrigation system used for rice paddies, a system that is part of Bali’s traditional subak, an ancient water management system recognized by UNESCO.

Just below the waterfall, a spring pool fills the water, creating a calming pool, teeming with colorful fish. A curved bridge connects the two continents not far from the waterfall. Below it, a river flows swiftly. The river is flanked on both sides by tall, long, rocky cliffs. The cliffs' height prevents sunlight from fully entering.
