Your friendly, local interpreter will lead this leisurely walk as you explore the abundant flora and fauna along these routes that often offer incredible opportunities to spot wildlife. Marvel at snow-capped peaks during the months of May and early June, in mid-summer the forest and alpine meadows are ablaze in glorious wildflower shades of red, blue, yellow and white. By late August and through the month of September, the mountain landscapes glow with the red, orange, and gold of the Larch and Aspen trees. Creatures, big and small inhabit this region, from columbia ground squirrels, beavers and eagles to bear and moose, you never know what luck you may have.

Lutz had just the right amount of crazy to be very engaging and was well informed. The trail we went on was perfect for us and gave Lutz all of cues he needed to pass on lots of relevant information.

Wendy, our expert guide was skilled, engaging, knowledgeable and fun. She knew so much about the topography and shared her years of learning with us. Wendy ensured the 3-hour hike was adapted to the ages and ability of all in our group. We learned so much about the land in a short amount of time. She was wonderful.

Great way to safely see and explore the local area. If like us, you’re not familiar with the local wildlife or how to deal with encounters, this is a great trip to learn. Our guide Ludtz was fantastic, he had so much knowledge about the area, wildlife, plants and history of the area which made the hike very enjoyable and informative. Would definitely recommend if visiting Jasper.

Pete, not Mark, (inside joke) was an outstanding guide. He pointed flora and fauna particular to the Jasper region. He also showed us evidence of the various creature who are in the area and things they have done to assimilate and prepare for their future. The pace was great and the caliber of question gave Pete the opportunity to show his wealth of knowledge.

Great experience of 5 different turquoise lakes. Our guide Alicia was so informative on the walk and local forestry on the rides getting to park. She was such a pleasure and patient with a large group with varying hiking skills. Trail is considered moderate with steep trails at times but truly worth it.
Don’t waste your money.

They just take you to maligne canyon and regurgitate the same information as the interpretive signs. The guide is only slightly more knowledgeable than those signboards, and gave me wrong plant names multiple times. Save your money and just go to the canyon on your own! I called to ask for a refund or to book an alternative tour; the woman on the phone said she would have an answer the next day... I have yet to receive an answeR. For $70, this is a scam.

Lovely walk, weather was a bit damp and the mosquitoes were out in force, but nonetheless was a very interesting and informative walk.

Alicia was our guide and was excellent. Very knowledgeable on the area, wildlife, conservation, ecology etc. But fun with it, catered to the walking abilities of the group and what we all wanted to do and answered all questions. Had great fun.
