Connect with the profoundly beautiful nature of Waiheke Island through local eyes. Meet real people and ponder stunning wine in naturally pretty settings and we have some wonderful lunch options for you. Grant will be your personal guide for the day. He will greet you as you step onto the beautiful Waiheke Island. Once your small group of like minded wine lovers are all together your adventure begins with a drive up to Oneroa Village where we will stop briefly to get you into a Waiheke frame of mind and you can grab a locally roasted coffee. We then drive along the most beautiful forested back roads looking down to the sparkling blue water as we head towards your first Waiheke winery. We avoid the heavily used commercial tour routes and focus on the real old school wineries where the people are interesting and the wine is gorgeous being made from hand picked grapes from the sustainable vineyard surrounding you. Every wine maker has a unique approach and our guests often comment on the relaxed flow of the tour and nice contrasting boutique wineries and the sweet vibe of this ancient Jurassic island. . 5.00We are so glad we chose to go with Grant and Waivino tours! One of the reasons we chose to go with his tour is that he has smaller groups than those other tours. This was our first time to Waiheke Island, and he gave us a great tour around the island while telling us a lot about the history of the island. We made stops along the way at some beautiful lookout points. The three wineries we went to were exceptional! Each winery was different and the tastings were wonderful! We also made a stop in the downtown area for a gelato before we headed back to the ferry. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip to New Zealand! Thank you, Grant!

5.00Grant is extremely good at what he does, and you will not get a more memorable bespoke experience with him. Knowledge about everything and everyone on the Island and beyond is unmatched, and is generally just a good chat. In particular, he listened and tailored our experience in accordance with our wine preferences which was a great example of one of the many small attention to detail things he does. Definitely check out Grant and his company - we will definitely be coming back in the future to hit up all the wineries!

5.00My husband and our friends had the best time driving around Waiheke with Grant! He was so knowledgeable about the island and it was amazing to learn about the history from a local. 5.00Awesome time! Grant was incredible. We visited Waiheke on a Tuesday in Winter which isn't ideal because many of the wine makers are closed. But Grant used his connections and was able to pull together an incredible experience for us. He even pivoted a little to include a beer tasting, which we appreciated. Grant is an insightful and engaging conversationalist, very knowledgeable about the island, and well-connected. Thank you Grant for a lovely day.
