You will visit all along the tour in 3 different wineries, including at least 1 located in the Châteauneuf du Pape appellation area (appellation with more than 300 producers). You will taste at least 3 wines in each area.
Subject to the availability of the estates, one of the 3 wineries is located in Beaumes de Venise, country of Muscat (natural sweet wine), another in Gigondas (famous for its red wine) and a third in Châteauneuf du Pape (world famous for its red wine but possessing a quality white).
In case of unavailability of the partner domains of Beaumes de Venise and/or Gigondas, it is possible that we go to a domain in Séguret, Vacqueyras or a second domain in Châteauneuf du Pape.

After about 30 minutes drive from Avignon, stop in an area located in one of the appellation areas of the Côtes du Rhône (Beaumes de Venise, Gigondas, Séguret, Vacqueyras, Sablet, Rasteau, Tavel, Lirac...). Then about 15 minutes drive until the next tasting.
Rhone Valley Region
Stop in a second domain located in one of the appellation areas of the Côtes du Rhône (Beaumes de Venise, Gigondas, Séguret, Vacqueyras, Sablet, Rasteau, Tavel, Lirac...) followed by a picnic consisting only of fresh produce from local farms. Then about 30 minutes drive until the next tasting.

5.00Our driver and guide Arnoux, is a very knowledgeable wine guy who truly loves showing the sun-drenched vineyards of Chateauneuf du Pape, Beaumes de Venise and Gigondas. He’s a very easy, amiable and a real people person, who travels the World whenever he gets the chance. His tour, I truly enjoyed and I would highly recommend..

5.00Arnaud was wonderful. Lots of interesting history about the area and the wine. We got to visit three wineries including Domaine de BeauRenard Chateauneuf du Papa which uses biodynamic methods. The picnic was very special! It gave us a chance to share more stories and the selection of foods and juices Arnaud brought was tasty, fresh and local.

5.00A nice excursion from Avignon to three different wine regions nearby. Great tasting experiences and a lovely picnic lunch with local products. Our host was very knowledgeable and congenial. I live in Sonoma County in California and have had many wine tasting experiences and I was impressed with this tour.

5.00The Chateauneuf-du-Pape wine tour was amazing from start to finish. Arnoud our guide was from the area and is doing a job he truly loves. He was very knowledgeable and made us feel welcome and comfortable visiting the three wineries our tour. You could tell that he had a great relationship with the wineries and that they were comfortable letting him show us around some of their behind the scenes areas. His commentary fit well with their history of each winery, and our group gained a lot of knowledge about each wine and the hard work that went into its production. We had a picnic lunch provided by our guide with a selection of foods native to the area that were all delicious. Probably the best wine tour I have experienced, and that is saying a lot.

5.00Great trip when you can taste variety of Cote du Rhone wines and learn how the grapes are grown. We were in vineyards in Chateneuf du Pape, Beaumes de Venis and Gigondas appelations. And we have fun! :-)

We visited three wineries and came away with an immense appreciation for the intricacies involved in bringing wine, from planting grapes to bottling and distribution, to our table.
