  I really enjoyed the safari! Pick-up was perfectly on time, and we headed early to the entrance for a full-day trip. Our guide, Nissanka, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and genuinely focused on giving us the best experience possible. He made a huge effort to show us as many animals as he could, while still reminding us that nature can’t be predicted. In the end, we were very lucky with our sightings. It was a truly fabulous day. I would definitely recommend this tour!

  The day safari is an absolute must. At lunch I wondered if the afternoon would have any added value. But it certainly did! Less crowded, nicer routes and finally spotted the leopard! Thanks to the fantastic camera of the guide also beautiful pictures!

  We were initially hesitant about doing this tour, considering that we would be encounting wild animals, however, we decided to book it as it seemed like such a unique opportunity, plus it had so many great reviews! I would say that this was the best tour of all the tours that we've ever done! Our driver/guide Ranga was amazing and did a terrific job spotting animals and providing commentary. He just seemed to know where to go for best wildlife viewing. We got to see the elephants, deer, peacocks, alligators, monkeys and even the elusive leopard that everyone was so eager to see. Definitely a 5 out of 5!

  Pick up was quick and easy. Comfortable well kept vehicle with friendly driver who made sure we saw lots of wildlife and enjoyed our day out. We were lucky enough to see a leopard which was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this trip.

  Brilliant safari and pick up was easy to find at gate 2. Our tour guide and driver was exceptional. We saw elephants, many! Leopards, Crocs, and a host of monkeys, antelopes etc. Great day.

  Madu was the most skilled driver in the whole park. Highly recommend choosing him. We saw more animals and especially leopards (which are hard to spot) than any other van. Mad Madu for the win!

  Madu is the best guide! Thanks to his knowledge, experience, and driving skills we were able to see a huge variety of animals including leopards (we were there first before the other jeeps!), peacocks, many elephants (also babies!), amazing birds, monkeys, crocodiles, hornbills, eagles, and maaany more! He also organised an amazing home-cooked breakfast and lunch for us. Best day of my Sri Lanka travels so far thanks to Madu!!!

  

  

  

  

  

  

• A great one-day safari.

  This was an excellent journey to two of the national parks where the wildlife can be found. The ride was in the rear of an all-terrain vehicle with decent seats, four bucket and a rear bench that could hold three more people. The roads to and from the parks were paved and in excellent condition. The roads within the park were all unpaved and most were in good shape. The driver was careful and the trip was amazingly comfortable overall. Due to the arrival and departure times of the ship, we were unable to get to the park near dawn or dusk when the animals are most active. Notwithstanding that fact we saw elephants, jackals, crocodiles, numerous monkeys, water buffalos and numerous species of birds. Water and a soft drink were provided. The ticket to the parks (not included) cost about $40.00. Most entrance gates to the parks do not have credit card ability and only take Sri Lanka currency. There were toilet facilities at the entrance of the park but not elsewhere. There is no food available in the parks.

  Excellent tour. Met us as planned, very friendly driver, really knew the park and the animals. Had a fun encounter with an elephant on the way home. No leopards for us, but we saw elephants, golden jackals, lots of peacocks, spotted dear, black faced grey monkeys, alligators, and quite a few interesting species of birds.   We've been provided with very high quality of services. It took us 15-20 minutes to discuss what we were looking for in a messenger as a starting point and then our 2 days adventure was perfectly organised and successefully delivered. The niciest thing were people taking care of us, their willingness to help and make sure we enjoyed. And, of course, fantastic, beautiful Sri Lanka as we discovered it as a result. We visited a lot of beautiful places, enjoyed gorgeous sun sets and sun rises, watched animals (incl. a leopard) and birds. We were provided with tasty local lunches, fruits and water. That was definetely one our our best travel experiences in terms of organisation, punctuality and impressions! Just go ahead and we hope you will enjoy as well!:)
