Very nice tour but the booking information indicated that binoculars would be provided. However, no binoculars were available despite my request for them. On 2 separate occasions, we had sightings of leopards but they we visible only by those with high powered cameras. Since we chose this trip specifically to see leopards, we were disappointed that we were misinformed about the binoculars. We would have brought our own binoculars if we knew such would not be provided.

The safari was a great alternative to cruise excursions . We paid much less and we were well taken care of . The guides made sure we saw as many animals as possible in the park and got us back to the ship exactly when they said they would . Thanks!

Very adventurous And daring since it can be chaotic with so many jeep drivers, tour buses, and locals driving their scooters around the crazy roads of Sri Lank or any southeast Asian country with densely populated areas to take us to a safari before it begins!!

Hi, we had a fantastic day out with Ajith Safari. Our driver and guide Ishan was wonderful, we saw a leopard, elephants, deer, a mongoose, bears, crocodiles and many types of birds - a highlight of our holiday in Sri Lanka.

We had a fantastic day at Yala National park with our driver Naja. We have three children aged 13, 11 & 8 and they all loved the experience. We had breakfast and lunch provided which was lovely. Our driver Naja was brilliant and spotted a leopard, he managed to get us in a great spot to watch her crossing the track. We also saw elephants, crocodiles, water buffalo, eagles, monkeys, flamingos, monitor lizards and mongoose. It was a long hot day but so worth it.

We had an amazing time on the safari - it was an unbelievable experience and we saw so many animals. Wishwa was an amazing driver / guide and knew so much about the animals. Although we didn’t see a leopard in the end wishwa tried very hard. Breakfast and lunch was also very nice - and needed as you have to take lunch between 12-2 anyway! Something we didn’t know is we had to pay park entrances fees (around £30pp) on top of the fee for the tour so bring cash

It was an amazing day! We also saw some leopards. Our driver Ishan, was very kind and gave us a lot of information about all the animals.

Yala is crazy. Far too many jeeps are allowed in with many only having 2 people in. Ajith try’s to make sure his jeeps have as many people in. We opted for a full day safari to give the best chances of seeing a leopard as that’s the main reason people come. Most leopard viewing are generally a queue and when you can have 100 jeeps in a queue it’s a waste of time. Dilan our driver was a man on a mission, we covered a huge distance over the day, lots of time being just our jeep. What this meant was if your lucky your first at seeing the leopard. Cause if your not first here your last in the queue. We were lucky! 4 leopards in 1 day. 1 very far away with lots of jeeps around, 1 very close just our jeep, 2 together very close, only 3 jeeps but Dilan really got us in the action for an amazing viewing. The roads are tuff it’s a full on bumpy day, my watch even thought id been walking all day. It’s all about luck and driver skill. Ajith’s wife Sri Lankan breakfast and lunch was AMAZING!
