4.00we did cancel this trip as our flight got delayed from Luxor to Cairo, we was reaching at the hotel 3am not able to join this trip 7am as we requested Refund waiting on that. customer service and local tour guy communication was good.

2.00Almost 6 Hours of Driving for an Hour of Sightseeing - I wouldn't have booked this tour! This tour was a colossal disappointment and a complete rip-off. It promises a trip to Alexandria but delivers an excruciating, time-wasting driving experience from Cairo with very little actual time spent enjoying the destination. Excessive Travel Time: We spent a staggering almost 6 hours in the car driving back and forth between Cairo and Alexandria. This immense travel time drastically reduced the time we had in Alexandria to a very short, rushed period. Minimal Sightseeing: The short time in Alexandria meant we only briefly saw the chosen sites. While the locations were okay, they were far from the best or most representative sights the city has to offer. The entire visit felt rushed and lacked depth. The guiding service was arguably the worst part of the experience, falling far short of any reasonable expectation for a guided tour. The guide was only picked up upon arrival in Alexandria, meaning the long drive from Cairo was completely devoid of the expected stories, historical context, or information about the country and cities. This was a major failure of the tour structure. Once we finally met the guide, it became clear they were not very knowledgeable, particularly about history. Their commentary was subpar and unengaging. The guide's behavior at the sites was unacceptable. They frequently left us to "explore the sites" entirely on our own, literally sitting aside to chitchat with other guides or people instead of providing explanations, context, or leading us - mind it, it was a PRIVATE tour . We were essentially paying for a driver and an absent minder. We did not enjoy this tour. It's an poorly structured itinerary dominated by driving, features substandard guiding, and offers minimal time in Alexandria. Save your money and your time. Look for an alternative tour or arrange your own transportation to properly enjoy Alexandria.

5.00We booked the driver only. Trip was subbed to Emo Tours, who most of our tours were booked through. Drivers do not always speak English, but they will use Google translate. Road was closed in the morning due to fog, so we got a late start. He dropped us off at each site and we called him when we were ready. Very kind driver who looked out for us!

5.00A good trip to Alexandria. It was long no doubt but our driver Youssef Shaaban was great! He is a very good and safe driver. Very polite and helpful. The roads were closed for over two hours because of fog. He was very patient and drive us safely to Alexandria. Also because of the fog delay every thing got delayed and we left Alexandria at 6PM he brought us to our hotel safely at 9PM. One other thing he did not know much english but conversed with us politely thru his phone translator!! The guide Nasreen was patiently waiting inspite of the delay she showed us around all that we had to see. The library,the fort, the catacomb were all very intersting. She answered many of our questions and helped us. A good trip inspite of bad weather.
