CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS: If you are arriving in Waitangi Wharf, the cruiseship provides FREE shuttle buses for cruise ship guests to transfer you into Paihia (5 minute bus ride) The bus will drop you off outside the Paihia Wharf next to our check-in location - Pier 10 on the Paihia Wharf

The "Hole in the Rock" section of the tour is weather dependent. If conditions are not suitable to travel to The Hole in the Rock, an alternative route within the sheltered inner islands will be used.

Great trip with dolphins as well and a walk

4.00Thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional skipper. It’s quite a long trip to the hole that is not that spectacular and, due to the swell, it was quite a hard ride. What made up for that was the dolphins of which we saw two different pods. There was also the walk up to Capt Cook’s lookout point. We also paid for the pack lunch that was very good and good value.

5.00This trip was part of our tour of NZ. Although the day was overcast and a little on the choppy side, the tour was great. Lovely vessel, great crew and very informative info about the various islands, owners, wildlife, things to do on certain islands etc.. A good decision not to try & go through the hole in the rock as it was a little rocky but that did not detract from the great trip!
Good vessel and crew but aditional locations wouldhave improved the tour

3.00The captain made a good decision not to risk sea conditions to go out to the hole in rock. However the trip extratime would have been better used exploring the sheltered bay areas such as Rawhiti or Oke Bay rather than extending the time at Otahei bay which was exposed to the windand comercial.

5.00The 3hr Hole in the Rock Tour was absolutely fantastic! The scenery was stunning, and the length of the trip was spot on. We were blessed with perfect weather, with the Bay of Islands looking incredible. The history and stories shared by Adam really added to the experience. And Audrey could not have done more to assist everyone on board. They really added to the experience with their personality. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Bay of Islands.

5.00What an amazing day. Couldn't ask for a better experience cruising around the bay. First, the day was calm, sunny and all round gorgeous. Second, my god, the pod of dolphins that swam to us on the boat and performed a show was wow wow wow. The marine life kicked up a few notches with huge schools of fish on full display. Third, the scenery, the rock, the islands, the bay itself, all wonderfully splayed out. But most amazing of all was our crew, Adam and Emma. Thank you guys for making it memorable.

5.00Had a fantastic trip with the best crew in the South Pacific. Super friendly and caring staff. The skipper had great knowledge of the local area and communicated it in a fun and engaging way.
