First it was under the rule of the King of Hungary Sigismund of Luxemburg, than under the Romanian voievodes Mircea cel Batran and Vlad Tepes and later on it came under the jurisdiction of the City of Brasov. Went with a group of friends in September 2017 and had an amazing time. Our tour guide, Rezven (hope I spelled his name correctly) was awesome! We saw more than we could have imagined on this tour and it was very informative. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and was able to show us some amazing sights that we would never have been able to find on our own. Definitely returning to Romania again and highly recommend this tour if you are travelling to Romania.

tour perfectly organized, places visited really sensational and higher than expectations; the guide George really pleasant, interesting and true connoisseur (among other things he speaks perfect Italian!) both of the place and the habits of tourists, always attentive to all requests and needs 'of customers. bucarest city 'truly above expectations for architecture and culture, quietly turnable even in the evening. the castles visited both beautiful (bran and peles). the halloween party at bran castle really scenic and well cared for. absolutely recommend it and especially recommend it with this agency.

A great tour. We combined it with 2 days in Bucharest either side and it was a fascinating comparison. You really do have to get out in the countryside to see the real Romania. George is patient, knowledgeable and we felt in safe hands at all times. He chose some interesting places to eat and stay and was good with my 3 teenagers. The tour is a nice mix of visiting historic places, towns and churches, and is conducted at an easy pace. Our mini van was comfortable and George's driving is smooth - so much so that my kids spent a lot of our time on the road asleep! There are some long stretches of driving but I loved it because I got to see so much. I'm a big fan of Gothic literature and that's what prompted my interest in the first place...but I came away with much more than I expected.

This tour was a VIP experience. Best tour we have ever took. The tour was highly planned and executed. Our guide George was able to read our interests and needs and tweak the tour to best suit us. My husband is disabled and George was willing and able to meet his needs through every issue and block we encountered. Thus, making this tour one for even disabled persons. George was kind, thoughtful and informative on all locations we visited and on all sites that we did not. He is a walking, talking history book. We say every site associated with Vlad Dracula. We saw the beautiful Transylvania ountry side close up and personal. We stayed and dined at the finest, funniest and most historical locations that we would never have even know of if not for this tour and our fantastic guide. I felt so special on this tour because of this young vivacious guide. Every tour agency should hire George to train their guides. I promise you this will be the once in a lifetime tour for you too! I highly suggest you book this tour with George.

Our guide, George, was very knowledgeable of the country's history and was able to answer every question we had about the country, even if it wasn't listed on the tour. Great hotel locations during the overnight stays as well. A bit more driving than we expected, but only because everything was spread out. Tour was in English and we had no language barrier issues. Very great trip and would highly recommend it!
