Banff National Park is Canada’s oldest and most celebrated national park - and one worth getting out of the car and onto a trail for. Go back to a simpler time with a 4-hour horseback ride and experience the park at a relaxed pace. Led by your cowboy guide, saddle up and and get a feel for what it was like for pioneers first settling in this once-wild area.

Fabulous! This is a well run outfit. Friendly staff and amazing horses. Highly recommend. We did the BBQ dinner ride. It was a nice break to stop and eat, then ride back. Kids would have fun on this ride too. They had roping and horse shoe game set up. This was a great experience! Book it!

Had a wonderful time on our ride. We’ve taken several rides at different travel destinations, and this one exceeded them all! Amber was great. The views are breathtaking.

Very great experience. Highly recommended. The track is very challenging. Steep ascents and steep slopes on partly very narrow paths are to be mastered. It was great. Amber was great!

We had a fabulous time with Danny this afternoon on our 4 hour ride. Our group was small, us (two adults and two teens) plus one other adult plus the Wrangler. The light rain made the forest more magical. The stable pick up point was very close to the Banff Springs Hotel bus stop. Instructions were simple and typical, and we were off. We saw two young grizzlies while on the ride. Pit stopped by the river, and ate the snacks/juice provided in our saddle bags. I was sore by the end of the ride, but it didn't feel too long at all! The area is beautiful and this is a fantastic way to see its beauty and get away from the crowds.

Fabulous experience. Lovely sure footed horses, I felt very safe. Comfortable saddles of course!. The 4hr ride was very hilly in parts. Glad I'm an experienced rider as it was easy for me but I think a non rider would struggle. The staff made it easy and safe, very enjoyable.

Great afternoon spent up in the Rockies horseback riding. Our guide was very informative, chatty and friendly. The ride itself takes you along winding (sometimes steep) ups and downs but the horses are so sure footed and calm that even the lesser experienced rider feels comfortable. The views are wonderful and you are surrounded by stunning nature. Loved every moment and highly recommend Banff Trail Riders and their team.

This was such a great experience. Our guide Dakota was wonderful. I can’t say enough good things about this ride. I was a little hesitant because we ride our own horses and this is a “head to tail” ride. That turned out ok because a lot of the ride was on very narrow trails on the side of the mountain. I felt super comfortable on my horse “Mountain” and he knew his job. I was free to take pictures and enjoy the beautiful scenery. We had an unexpected treat when we came up on a herd of elk. The horses were well taken care of and seemed happy to do their jobs. Great outfitter and I hope I can come back one day and ride with them.

A good, longer trail ride. Bailey was a great guide, with lots of good knowledge and stories. Once in the mountain, we were all by ourselves. We got some elevation with some good views, but also snacking on the river down in the valley. Crossing the river was fun, and got to see Bow Falls. Even saw a bear! Horses were well behaved and easy to guide, and everyone in our family of four had fun.
