Our tour takes place approximately 25km from the Douro estuary, far from mass tourism and common cruises. We are in a much more exclusive area of Rio with a natural rather than urban landscape. Our car "transfer" lasts around 20 to 30 minutes. Once at the Marina you will realize that you will have a tourism experience but not a tourist one! Our desire is to provide you with a trip similar to that of the locals with your own boat. Enjoy a few hours in direct contact with the river and its banks full of nature where there isn't even a road on the horizon!!! The climate is warmer and less windy. On board you will have time to relax and enjoy a selection of "Tapas" with high quality regional products accompanied by the best wines from the north of Portugal, including the famous "Alvarinho" variety. We sailed along the river for around 30 km! We make this experience unique! Cruise. Leisure. Gastronomy. Discover the real Douro!

Upstream of the Dam we begin our journey. This authentic masterpiece of engineering came into operation in 1986. The movable dam is made up of nine 25.5 meter high pillars!

Stop (anchorage) in this idyllic landscape only accessible by boat where you will enjoy a light meal with wine tasting from the Douro region. Time to dive and swim in calm, warm and clean waters. There's still time to try our "Stand-Up-Paddle" and explore the banks and shallows of the river where the boat cannot go. Enjoy nature in the silence of the calm waters and be surprised by the presence of some birds, including the beautiful "Garça Real".

We had an absolutely fantastic Douro river cruise with our skipper, Seraphem, and his daughter. The boat was spotless and beautifully maintained, and they were both such warm and delightful hosts—informative, accommodating, and genuinely passionate about sharing the Douro with us. We stopped in a lovely cove where we swam, tried out a paddle board, and relaxed before enjoying a delicious spread of lunch with white port, beers, crisp white wine, fresh fruit, cheeses, and cured meats. It was perfect. Seraphem went above and beyond by recommending excellent restaurants in the region and even introducing us to his brother’s wine from their family farm—a special touch that made the experience unforgettable. This was a highlight of our trip and we cannot recommend this experience highly enough!

Fabulous half-day trip on the Douro. Serafim could not have been more friendly or helpful. Luxurious and impressive boat. Great swimming spot for paddle-boarding and lunch. Wouldn’t hesitate to book another trip next time we are in Porto.

Truly memorable boat trip and highlight of our stay in Porto Terrific communication and organisation beforehand Lovely relaxing journey with Serafin with catering by his wife- especially as my wife was vegetarian Was flexible enough to reschedule by an hour to maximise the good weather All in all would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a private non touristic ride along the Douro river

Generally 5 stars. I recommend it to those who want to spend a beautiful day in the Douro with time to learn more about it and enjoy it. From all the service available (excellent drinks and food) to the little gestures of Mr. Serafim, the experience was very pleasant. I highly recommend. Thank you very much, sir. Just amazing. This couple are so fun and welcoming. They made the whole trip outstanding and were super relaxed. We listened to music, swam in the lagoon/tributary, ate, drank and had so much fun. Couldn't recommend it enough.

Our family of 6, mum, dad and 4 children in their twenties had a great day swimming and paddle boarding on a beautiful stretch of the Douro. Serafim and Elisa were wonderful hosts providing a lovely lunch and some very nice wines and ports through the day on their beautiful yacht. We all had a fantastic time and we would highly recommend this experience.

Exceptional boat trip. The tributary of the Douro where we snorkeled and enjoyed lunch on board was of unique beauty. Very pleasant to try stand-up-paddle and lie down in the sun. Very attentive and competent crew. The boat is beautiful and comfortable. We highly recommend it.
