  Kadir was an excellent guide! He is very knowledgeable about the locations including the history. I asked a lot of questions on details of the mosques and palaces and he was able to answer them in great detail. He even gave us a suggestion for a kebob location that was very tasty and reasonably priced as well as a rug shop. I recommend him to everyone that is planning on visiting Istanbul as he knows as much there is to know and then some.

  I’ve actually toured Istanbul with Kadir twice now. I was lucky enough to find him in 2023 on a solo visit, and then managed to find him again when I brought my daughter to Istanbul earlier this year. This man is the BEST storyteller!! He really knows and loves the history of the area, and brings it to life in the best way, relating so much of what you see to modern culture and language - you’ll be amazed at how many things you know already about Istanbul without realising you do!   A few months ago my wife and I booked Kadir for a private tour of Hagia Sophia. It was outstanding: the man knows 1,500 years of history inside out and explains it clearly, calmly, and without a hint of boredom. No fluff, no rush, just solid information delivered in a way that keeps you interested the whole time. When we came back to Istanbul, there was no question who we'd call. Booked Kadir again, this time for Topkapi Palace and the Blue Mosque. Same deal: met us on time, walked us through both places at the perfect pace, and packed the tour with sharp insights, good stories, and the occasional dry joke that landed just right. Kadir tied in the overlapping history from the Hagia Sophia tour and everything felt fresh and intricate just like the detail of the places we visited. Kadir has a calm demeanor, endless patience, excellent English, and genuinely enjoyable company. Doesn’t hover, doesn’t lecture, just guides like a pro. We'll be booking him again next visit.   The best private tour experience, ever! Very punctual, sensitive to my needs, personable, quite flexible, and very knowledgeable. He will take you to places not often visited in tours at your request. Excellent knowledge on where to shop if desired. He will give you all the time you need and fully adjust to your requests.
