The cruise is with a small group of people, so expect an interactive tour, and there is plenty of room for questions and recommendations during the cruise.

The Jordaan
The most common theory on the origin of the name is as a derivation of the French word Jardin, meaning garden: most streets and canals in the Jordaan are named after trees and flowers. Another theory is that the Prinsengracht canal was once nicknamed Jordaan (the Dutch name for the river Jordan) and that the neighborhood beyond the canal came to be called this as well. Our Flagship canal tour will start and end here in the Jordaan.

4.00The canal cruise was very enjoyable. Unfortunately it did rain, but only for a short time. Staff were great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately due to the Pride celebrations the start point was changed and it was very confusing for us.

3.00Boarding the boat was chaotic. The host was busy serving guests with wine and cheese options and It was hard to hear the commentary. The boat was far from luxury.
