On our Secret Food Tour: Amsterdam, you'll discover the best local Dutch food experience. We'll educate you about how the locals dine out and why it's so unique. We'll walk through streets that are a living part of our history and every building and courtyard tells a story. Your guide will introduce you to family-run businesses and restaurants. The Jordaan
On this Secret Food Walking Tour you'll discover the best local Dutch food the Amsterdam's Jordaan neighborhood has to offer. The Jordaan is Amsterdam's Greenwich Village, with its narrow alleys, leafy canals lined with 17th-century houses, quirky specialty shops, cafes and designer boutiques. You'll get to taste traditional homemade pancakes called "Poffertjes." Next, you'll sample some of the best Dutch cheeses. You'll visit a local fishmonger and dine on herring and traditional kibbeling, battered chunks of fish. You'll taste Stamppot, a local favorite. And at the end there will be a delicious Secret Dish.
Westertoren
You'll pass by the Westertoren ("Western tower"), the highest church tower in Amsterdam, at 87 meters (±286 feet).
