If you want to see the splendor of the Atlas Mountains AND the life of the Berbers, this is the right tour for you. The breakfast was delicious (try the honey!), the coffee by the river with half milk was amazing, and the rooftop tanjine lunch was perfect. If you want to do it and laugh and sing and learn the entire time, do it with Ismail. Worth every dirham!

Mohammad #1!!! He was an exceptional tour guide with a deep connection with his native area, the Atlas Mountains. Mohammad ensured we were well taken care of and provided a great blend of historical and current facts that helped illustrate the beauty of the landscape and the people that inhabit it. I would consider him the “Robin Hood” of the Atlas Mountains; he brings toys and candy to the children in the valleys and is currently finishing a masters degree in logistics to create international business for his village’s organic products, on top of getting married this summer (congrats!). Talk about a humble, selfless, and driven human being. The stops and views were incredible, especially for lunch with the local Berber family. I never thought I’d be able to say I had an authentic Moroccan lunch overlooking Mount Toubkal. Hands down 100% worth every second and penny spent.

This is a once in a lifetime, authentic, multi-varied experience - no, it's a gift that you can't put a price tag on. First off, let me say that Soufraine and his colleagues and partners, and the people who hosted us, could not have been more kind, welcoming, caring or giving. Every step of the 9-hour day was so perfectly planned and executed without feeling staged. You see and experience things you would never be able to when traveling solo as a foreigner in Morroco. Show up hungry and be ready to eat incredible, local delicacies in beautiful built and natural environments. The view from the home where we ate our lunch/second meal was second to none. I could go on and on detailing all of the goodness in this tour, but I will simply conclude by saying - "BOOK IT!"

Ismail, our guide, he was so funny, so smart and just a good person. From the moment he picked us up, we loved it. A beautiful day filled with laughter, quiz questions, and good music (everyone singed along). The places we visited were lovely, picturesque, and the food was just amazing. Also kudos to Simo for doing the hike with us. Not a luxury experience, but you get to see how the Berbers actually live. Loved every minute of it. Worth the experience. 10/10.

Abdullah was a great guide, who was very knowledgable and funny. Itinerary was just right: breakfast at an argan oil co-op, a few coffee stops, short and not too strenuous hike with local Rahim, and an amazing lunch with a berber family. Spectacular views, and a comfortable, newer vehicle that seated 6 just right. Would highly recommend. Just beware there are twisty mountain roads, so be prepared if you get car sick.

My mum and I went on this day trip to the Atlas Mountains from Marrakesh and our guide was Ismail. We had the best day. The mountains are beautiful, we got to see several Berber villages, meet locals, eat great home prepared food and learn so much about the local geography and culture. Special shout out to our guide Ismail who is one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met. He has endless knowledge about not just Morocco but seemingly everything else! He was fun and engaging and we felt he genuinely loved his job and being able to share his knowledge with us. This is a must do if you’re in Marrakesh, well worth the money.

This was by far the most beautiful and fascinating tour we did in our week stay in Morocco, starting with the scenic drive up the mountains, the hike through the different valleys and the warm and welcoming Berber community. The views are just majestic. Our driver and guide Mohamed was amazing too, very kind and engaging through out the day. Genuinely couldn't have asked for a better driver/guide. To top of the wonderful experience, the lunch provided in a Berber home was incredible, the tastiest tagine with stunning views. Overall, money well spent. Highly recommend this tour!

This trip for me was the highlight of our time in Morocco. It's for small groups, there were 6 of us in total, so make sure you are prepared to get to know your fellow travelers, and your chat is up to scratch, as you spend all day in a people carrier with them, as well as eating breakfast and lunch as a group. Fortunately, Peter, Christine, Carla and Frances were great companions for the day. All the food is genuine Berber cuisine, but even my fussy wife was able to eat something. However, you may want to bring along snacks if you aren't sure about the food. For me, the lovely freshly baked Berber bread dipped in honey for breakfast was great and the chicken, potatoes and carrots cooked in tagines for lunch was very nice. Be aware that some people might find the sitting down for lunch in the Berber house a bit uncomfortable, as you are sitting very low and very close to other people. Rest assured, for those with dicky bladders like me, there are toilets to use. The first stop for breakfast has a toilet you can use (the lowest one I have ever seen!) and you are taken to an outside toilet in a Berber house when you do your village hike. I also was able to use the toilet at the Berber house where we had lunch. Many thanks to Mohamed, our guide, for his great chat and interesting facts. This really is a must do tour for all those staying in Marrakech.
