We were torn between booking this tour or one of the highly rated desert camel/fire show tours. Ultimately, we decided to go with this one after reading several reviews that mentioned the camels were often kept in lots and didn’t seem to be in the best condition. We also wanted something a bit more unique and something that went beyond the typical tourist experience and this tour was it! It offered an authentic and immersive experience into how the Berber people live, far from the usual crowded tourist paths. We did not really see many other groups which is a shame considering the caliber of the tour and the stunning views. It was cool to see how the Argan oil was made but the jaw dropping views as we walked between villages was what affirmed we made the right decision. Another of the standout highlights was the lunch. We were honestly shocked by how delicious and generous it was—so many tours cut corners when it comes to meals, but not this one. It was one of our favorite meals of the entire trip. Abdullah was an incredible guide. He took photos of us at every stop (without us even having to ask), shared so much knowledge about the region, and engaged us in thoughtful, interesting conversation throughout the tour. He also let us stop to buy some ceramics and made sure everything was at our pace. You could tell he genuinely cared about making it a great experience for us. Highly, highly recommended—this was a special day we’ll never forget. Thank you, Abdullah!

We had a wonderful full day in the mountains with Anas. He is a friendly knowledgeable guide and it was a great experience meeting Berber people. The scenery is amazing!

Mohamed is an amazing guide who made this experience truly memorable. He was punctual and very considerate of all the passengers’ needs. We really enjoyed the breakfast, tea, and lunch—the tagine at lunch was the most delicious dish we had during our entire trip to Morocco. The guided tour of the village was fascinating, giving us a glimpse into life in rural Morocco. This tour is highly recommended for anyone looking to learn more about Moroccan culture.

Such an amazing experience! My husband was supposed to go with me (we had a private tour), but he ended up getting sick the morning of and wasn’t able to go. Abdullah was very flexible and still made the trip extremely memorable!!! He was so knowledge! I learned an lot about the culture, history, and language. I loved stopping by the women’s cooperative. This is a wonderful place to get gifts for family and friends back home (I did all my shopping here). #purchasewithapurpose. I really enjoyed the hike through several villages with Ali who was from the region. The people were all so kind here. I had one of the best Moroccan lunches since I’ve been here! If you want to see Moroccan culture, this tour is ideal. The mountain side was full of poppies, barley, sheep, goats, donkeys, children playing, and beautiful trees (i.e., olive, walnut, apple, fig, cedar, lemon, etc.). Abdullah was very good with telling you about the different plants. I wish I had Abdullah for all of my tours in Morocco! If you can, I’d highly recommend asking for him. A very memorable, fun experience.
