When visiting temples visitors should ensure they are suitably dressed. Long pants which go down to the ankle, not tight and not torn - Tops with sleeves and must not be see-through should be worn. Due to recent flooding and elevated water levels, the cruise is currently unable to pass beneath the Krung Thon Bridge along the usual route. As a result, the itinerary will be modified for the month of November Only. The cruise experience will still be provided and will operate from Bangkok, where guests will continue to enjoy a delightful lunch cruise on the river.

Wat Mahathat
Wat Mahathat, “the temple of the Great Relic” was one of the most important temples in the Ayutthaya Kingdom. Located on the historical island the large monastery features a huge central prang, a very large principal viharn and ubosot and a great number of subsidiary chedis and viharns. The upper part of its once massive central prang has collapsed. Today only the base remains.
Wat Phra Sri Sanphet
Wat Phra Si Sanphet, also known as the "Temple of the Holy, Splendid Omniscient" was the holiest temple in Ayutthaya during the Ayutthaya period and until the city was destroyed by the Burmese in 1767. It was the grandest and most beautiful temple in the capital and it served as a model for Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok.

3.00Was only supposed to be 12 people max was 23 nearly double . Otherwise excellent tour guide very knowledgeable and helpful. Temples were wonderful. Cruise was very good and the food much better than we expected. Its just a shame there were so many people We chose this trip because of the number and could have paid less if we wanted a bigger group. It meant the guide had less individual time and at times was difficult to hear.

4.00Pick up from hotel was prompt and we arrived at bus with plenty of time before departure. The temples were impressive. Very nice to see the history. River cruise lunch was okay. Spent a lot of time on the bus to get to temples and for the return. As with all excursions time on-site is limited. If you need something to do for the day it was a nice experience.

3.00It was a good day out, guide and driver both very good. Food on boat nice. The bus trip felt rushed we would have liked to go into the modern temple. Boat ride too long

5.00Worth the price. No complaints. The coach will depart from the 7-eleven that is next to River City. We departed yesterday at 8am, having waited for everyone to arrive. Donna did a great job leading the tour. Very informative. This tour is a convenient way to see these sights. We felt that we had ample time at each location. Ninety minute drive each way. Due to elevated water levels caused by recent flooding, the river boat was unable to cruise south from Ayutthaya. So instead, we drove back to River City following the tour. There we boarded a river boat for the two-hour lunch cruise. The buffet lunch was delicious; many options and there was plenty of food for everyone. The catering staff on board the boat was hospitable, professional and courteous. Not a gimmick. Our tour yesterday ran for exactly eight hours; 8am to 4pm. I do recommend this tour.
Fantastic history of Buddha...great food views on the phraya Chao river... On the cruise with buffet lunch at end ...

5.00It's a historical trip of Buddha...if your not into history not for you..the cruise down the river with buffet lunch is worth the price alone ! This at end of course...the food was amazing...order the mango drink...huge glass tasted fantastic...Ong our English speaking guide gave us all info we needed and answered all our questions...tip for the temples ....ladies you must adhere to the dress code ..one of my group was denied entry to one because she wore short shorts.... security said no even after Ong tried to say sorry she means no offense.. ..so be weary of that.. diabetes eat before going ..! You won't really have anything of substance for 4-5 hours until the luncheon on the boat ...drink water or carbs before going ... It was hot humid and it's all walking...if ur health challenged cardiovascular skip this tour . Don't select pick up option/ drop off option...it's twice the price and u go in a group ..the grab / Uber app in Thailand is very reliable.. all fare is paid thru the app. No haggling no driver scam ..you track your route thru the app along with the driver for safety..it's only like 5 bucks each way from central Bangkok hotels..the tour ride service is like 70 bucks 😬...highly recommend this tour ...

5.00So good! Our guide was awesome and sooooo informative! I only had a couple of days in Bangkok and this definitely covered a lot of cool things. Worth it if you don’t have much time. The boat ride back is epic, the bridge is so low we had to duck down to the floor if you were on top deck. Hilarious and awesome.

3.00Tour was interesting. But we were late leaving a lot as guests were late. Host very friendly+informative but focused too much on religious side for our liking. Bus was comfy but no toilet. Cruise was great. Buffet was xclnt & plentiful.
