Get a great introduction to Bath on this 3 hour private walking tour of the city. You will see Bath's famous landmarks and learn about the city's past and present with a local guide who was born and grew up in the city. The tour includes a drive to a fantastic viewpoint over the city. There is an option to have either a morning or afternoon tour.

Bath
You will be collected from your preferred pick-up point in Bath and driven, by private vehicle, to your guide's favourite viewpoint to give you a great perspective of the city. COVID-19 UPDATE: The vehicle is used to take you to the viewpoint. The rest of the tour is on foot. All touch-points in the vehicle will be cleaned for your tour and hand-sanitiser will be available. If you prefer not to use a vehicle - the viewpoint can be excluded from the tour. Please notify Bath Insider Tours at the time of booking if you wish to do this.
Bath
After visiting the viewpoint your guide, who was born and grew up in Bath, will take you on a walking tour of the centre of Bath. You will be shown all of the city's famous buildings and landmarks and your guide will tell you interesting stories about these and the city. You will also be shown the location of the city's hot springs - without these Bath would not be the city that it is today. There is not time on a 3 hour tour to go inside Bath's museums, such as the Roman Baths museum, but your guide will happily point these out to you and give you some insider tips should you wish to visit these during your stay.

5.00Daniel was an excellent tour guide. He explained the history of bath. And told us about some of the famous people who lived here. We were shown all the sites to see with some funny narration. Even stopped for some local treats! Wonderful tour. Would definitely recommend!

5.00We highly reccommend Daniel -He s full of knowledge and great company. My husband and I did the three hour tour and as a born bred Bathonian Daniel knows more than just what they teach you in history.

5.00We made 2 visits with Daniel who, with a lot of humor, captured the attention of our 2 teenagers. We discovered Bath but also the Cotswolds and Stonehenge in the comfort of the private tour, while managing to avoid the crowds at this summer time.

5.00Daniel is an entertaining and knowledgeable guide to the city of Bath. We really enjoyed the view point we began our journey throughout Bath. Daniel brings history and current events to life with stories.

5.00Dan is an excellent tour guide! He has grown up in Bath and knows the history extremely well and is passionate to tell you all about his hometown and world travels. We covered it all! We were very interested in the filming of Bridgerton. He took us all around town and showedus where filming took place. He also told us some of his favorite spots. We spent three days in Bath and dis tours with Dan each of those days. You will not find a better tour guide!

5.00We had a great tour with Daniel. He was very engaging and interacted well with our two teenagers who really didn’t know what to expect on the tour. You could tell Daniel really loves his job and the city. We did several tours on our week long visit to England and this was our favorite. Would highly recommend.

5.00We saw all the highlights of Bath in a very enjoyable 3 hours. Daniel was very knowledgeable and personable. We learned and we laughed alot during our tour. The history of Bath was extremely interesting. Daniel was also very accomodating as one of our group was in a wheelchair. Overall a great experience.

5.00This was our first time in Bath and Daniel did an excellent job giving us an overview of the City, the history and really brought Bath to life through stories, photos and videos from the city’s early days through more recent events. Daniel is kind, funny and patient as my wife and I asked questions or had us take slight detours. Highly recommend booking this personalized tour.
