Tickets to the Forbidden City require a real-name reservation 7 days in advance and are easily sold out, so you are advised to book the tour at least 8 days before. Otherwise, international travelers will need to line up at the entrance to buy tickets.
We offer free pick-up within the Third Ring Road of Beijing, beyond which there will be an extra charge, so we suggest you book centrally located downtown hotels. Please get ready at the hotel lobby at least 5 minutes in advance of the pick-up time confirmed with you a day before. No-show is non-refundable.
Please provide the correct passport information for booking the real-name tickets. And make sure to carry the same identification when travelling; otherwise, you will be refused entry by the scenic areas.
Group Size: About 12 people. There are chances that 10% of the tour groups will exceed 12 people but we will make proper arrangements.
Departures are guaranteed with two persons in Mar to Nov and three persons in Dec to Feb.
Since the Forbidden City is closed on Mondays, we’ll arrange Summer Palace instead of Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City.

Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)
Visiting this square cause too many time consuming security checks. To enter Tiananmen Square quickly, especially during holidays, we suggest you leave your bag in the car and only carry the passport and bottled water with you to go through the no-bag passage rather than waiting in long queues for security check.

5.00Sandy was a fabulous guide from collection in our hotel and throughout the day. Having Sandy and her knowledge of history made the day so enjoyable. My 19yo originally was won over- we can’t imagine a better day on our China trip. So helpful to have a guide to beat the long lines and especially to have information via an ear piece all morning. At The Great Wall we could go at our own pace and was an amazing day. A buffet lunch and tea ceremony was included and I’m grateful for it. There was a Jade factory inclusion but we didn’t feel the need to buy anything all day. I highly recommend this trip is you are in Beijing!

5.00Our tour guide Rocky was awesome. He is very knowledgeable about the forbidden city and he is an excellent photographer. He took amazing pictures of us and the sites so I was very appreciative of that. Definitely would recommend if you want an informative tour with great pictures.

5.00This was a great tour of Beijing - the guide, Rocky, spoke great English and shared a lot of historical context throughout the trip. The driver was timely and logistics were convenient. The Great Wall was by far the highlight of the trip - an experience to remember for a lifetime!
