Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Guangchang)

Build in 1415, Tian An Men Square is one of the largest squares in the would, with total size of over 40 hectares. It is the main entrance of the Forbidden City, and has an overview of the communist influences on the country.

Minimal time at the attractions we thought we were seeing, more effort to rush us to the tea shop, Jade shop and Chinese medicine shops to get commission. Stop at Forbidden City was a rushed route march, never saw Tiananmen Square and a scant 90 minutes at the Great Wall. Not great value and we felt as though we were cash cows, not recommended at all.

What a great way to visit the top sites. Everything went smoothly. It was a great bang for the buck. Lee was a great tour guide. I didn't bring my passport but I was able to get in with a photo of it. I recommend bringing it to make things easier. Traveling in China is safe to travel with a passport on you. I also recommend leaving to meet at the pickup hotel, much sooner than you think. Google Maps doesn't have traffic data. It said 25 min and ended up being 45 minutes. I showed up 15 min late and I was still able to make it.

Michael is a great guy. He has a lot of experience and he will make everything to accommodate your needs. This is a perfect tour if you have just a couple of days in Beijing, otherwise if feels a bit rush.

It was a full-day tour including some of China’s most iconic places such as the Forbidden city, the Tiananmen Square and the Great Wall. The tour was very well organised. Our tour guide Jenny Liang was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, very kind and her English was excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for an amazing guide in Beijing. Overall, I highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful day today. Michael was an amazing tour guide. A day filled with beautiful experiences. Highly recommend. Price was also pretty affordable for such a long day and the amount of activities. Included a wide variety of food for lunch and tea tasting at the end. Also very convenient with the hotel pick up and drop off.
