◆ Activity Content

We start with a short quiz that uncovers the surprising history behind this iconic dish! After that, we’ll make both tradidtional & modern types of sushi, Nigiri zushi and colourful carifornia rolls!!

◆ Class Duration

The entire session lasts about 1.5 hours, including sushi making, photo time, and enjoying your creations.

◆ Location

Our studio is conveniently located just a 7-minute walk from Shibuya Station, right in the center of Tokyo.

◆ Special Options

Our sushi making class has Vegan/Vegetarian & Halal options on demand! Feel free to joining us to make unforgettable memories in this cozy, welcoming workshop!

※If you’d like halal/ vegetarian/ vegan options, please let us know when you make booking!

※ Menu changes cannot be accepted on the day of the class.

What You'll Experience: 1. Arrival and Check-In When you arrive at the venue, our staff will warmly welcome you and confirm your reservation. After that, you'll be guided to wash your hands and prepare for the session. 2. Warm-Up with a Sushi Quiz To get started, you'll enjoy a short quiz about the history of sushi and some surprising facts. It's a fun way to learn and break the ice before diving into the hands-on part. 3. Making California Rolls You'll begin by learning how to make a California roll, a modern sushi style that's popular worldwide. 4. Creating Traditional Nigiri Sushi Next, you'll try your hand at making nigiri – the iconic style of sushi where hand-shaped rice is topped with slices of fresh fish or other toppings. Our staff will demonstrate the techniques and help you shape your own beautiful pieces. Throughout the session, our warm and helpful staff will guide and support you, making sure you feel comfortable and have a great time. 5. Enjoy Your Creations After making your sushi, you’ll get to sit down and enjoy everything you’ve made. Soy sauce, wasabi, and pickled ginger will be provided, just like in a real sushi restaurant!

We were pleased and surprised to have a private class with Shota! As sushi making rookies, he patiently took us through each step and at the end we enjoyed some of the best sushi we have ever eaten. Highly recommended.

We were visiting at dinner at 12:15 and Mami was there to welcome us... she was so sweet and patient with us... one of the best experiences we have had in Japan! She taught us about history and how to make it to the bottom! If you want a good experience, go there!

Despite a confirmed booking we waited but no one came to take the class.. waiting for refund, compensation for our wasted time to get there and an apology.. we rated it a 1 as zero not an option…

Wonderful experience-- very fun afternoon. Mami and Tamaki are terrific hosts. They know their sushi making and have great patience especially with our 10 year old granddaughter who is very enthusiastic. Very gracious people. Thank you.
