Enjoy riding an ATV / QUAD for 1 hour on the Black Beach in South Iceland just by the Thorlakshofn town.

Children must be accompanied by an adult

Minimum age is 6 years

You need to have a valid driving licence if you are driving the ATV/Quad

A minimum of 2 people per booking is required

A maximum of 30 people per booking if everyone has a partner or 15 people if all single drivers

This tour was a blast! Such a great way to experience the black sand beaches. I think I would have been bored driving out to just look at black sand, but the ATVs made it a true experience!

This was a very scenic, fun tour. Our guide (Big G) took plenty of time for us to take pictures and enjoy the surroundings. He was very pleasant and helpful with all of our questions about the area. We were lucky enough to see seals along the way and get some great video and panoramic shots. It’s easy to recommend this tour.

We loved every minute of this tour and if we ever have the chance would do it all over again. Our guide was absolutely amazing and took us to some of the most unique and breathtaking places we have ever had the chance to see. My family and I can’t say enough good things about everyone at Black Beach Tours. If you have time and are looking for an adventure that is sure to show you some of the best sights Iceland has to offer then this is for you.

My sister and I visited Iceland for 5 days. The ATV tour was fun, organized and a great way to see the black beach. Tour guides were informative and patient with our large group.

This was an amazing tour! Gretar was very nice and attentive to our group. He waited and checked on me, as I had a previous ATV accident and was a little nervous. Really appreciate his time and recommendations of places to go. If you’re thinking about ATV’s this is your guy! Thank you Gretar!

I went on a ATV tour in Egypt and in Turkey as well, but this Black Sand Beach tour beats them all! Starting from the warm welcome, the clear training from our nice guide, the safe and fast ATVs to the magnificent view you're getting while driving. I could not stop saying "wow" the whole time and the smile wouldn't leave my face. The fact that it was a cold and rainy day (which I was thinking would ruin the day) added so much more fun and adrenaline to the experience! You receive appropriate gear, but also make sure to take some warm gloves. Cannot recommend enough and I will come back for sure.

Went there with my coworkers as one of the activies we had dor hhe staff party. The crew welcomed us ,trained us, rhey were very friendly and professional The route we were taken on was phenomenal, ocean shire, black sand beach, mud and so on Highly recommended!

Our group, consisting of 16 staff members, embarked on an ATV tour on a rainy Wednesday. Despite the weather, the ride was fantastic, offering breathtaking scenery and an exhilarating pace. Our tour guide, Grétar, was exceptional, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience. The rain didn't dampen our spirits, as the waterproof gear provided kept us dry and warm throughout. I would suggest wearing a traditional Icelandic knitted wool sweater for added comfort.
