The Do Eat Better Experience food tour is a walking tour in at least 4 stops, around the historical center of Bologna. The tourist is guided by a "Foodie", a local "buddy" able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and the relevant history/curiosities.

Do Eat Better Experience tours are a mix of high-quality gastronomy as a way of showing Italian culture and lifestyle and a walking experience together with a local friend. This is the reason why we accept small groups only: we want to focus on a genuine exchange and give to each tourist the highest attention possible.

Please, note that the tour is always run in English and Italian; other languages upon request.

My friends and I had an absolutely fantastic dinner tour with Valentina as our guide! Valentina was knowledgeable and personable, and kept us engaged with historical anecdotes and cultural background throughout the evening. The chosen establishments were ones we probably would not have found on our own, and we would not have known to pick the dishes that Valentina selected for our tasting. Lastly, the food gave us a tasty introduction to the cuisine of Emilia Romana. We ended our evening completely satisfied -- with the food and the overall experience!

Eugenio was a wonderful guide who was extremely knowledgeable not only about the food of Bologna, but also the history of the city beginning in Medieval times. The food samplings were very good (bring your appetite since it is a LOT of food). We would highly recommend this tour.

I think Erica made a bad mistake - it would seem she failed to count the number of participants before starting the tour early leaving my wife and I behind even though we arrived on time. On a telephone call exchange she came back to the meeting point to collect us. The tour was good
