What makes this experience unique is that we are about to enjoy it not in a typical " touristic" way, but the way greeks do it.

SWIMMING AND GREEK LUNCH : as a local i know the best spots for food and swimming ( only few know): after the coffee break we will enjoy swimming at one of the best beaches in athens and then taste the delicious greek cuisine( fresh seafood or " souvlaki) at the best local tavernas.i was in the restaurant bussiness for years so i know the best tavernas in town.

SOUNION TEMPLE OF THE POSEIDON:

the second part of the experience, Temple of poseidon at Sounio, will amaze us for two reasons: firstly because of its architectural and historical uniqueness and secondly because it is located on an edge cliff , where you can see the aegean sea in front of you.The view of the aegean will become much more impressive during the sunset.ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE..i am looking forward to showing the beauties of greece.

The first part of the trip includes pick up at your hotel and drive along the beautiful Athens Riviera,where we will drive through the most prestigious cities of Athens(we will also see Vouliagmeni Lake)and indulge into the local lifestyle.During the drive,we will make a stop at a seaside local bakery only locals know,where we will try a traditional greek breakfast(coffee&bougatsa).Then we will continue our drive to a beautiful beach with crystal clear waters,where you can relax and enjoy your swimming if you want!Then we will visit the impressive Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounio,where you will explore the site at your own pace- the views when on the top of the site are breathtaking!! *10 euros entrance fee is not included in the price* After visiting Sounio,i will take you to a local tavern, not easy to find if not a local ,where you will try super fresh local dishes! Finally,i will drive you back smoothly to your hotel for the drop off! What makes this experience unique is we will stop to places only locals go!!

-We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. -It's a small group tour, maximum of 6. -Stopped at Lake Vougliameni, had a very nice breakfast at a local bakery, headed to cape sounio and then had lunch at a taverna. What made this trip exceptional is having Kosta as our guide. He is such a wonderful person that made everyone in the tour feel comfortable with each other. He is very knowledgeable and highlights the facts about Greece as we go around.

Erik was an outstanding tour guide on our visit to the Temple of Poseidon. His deep knowledge of the history and significance of the site made the experience truly enriching. Really great, Eric is knowledgeable and very gifted at bringing strangers together into a cohesive group. The first stop -espresso or cappuccino with Bougatsa (was warm and wonderful). Then the motel/beach for a very refreshing dip in the sea. Next stop Posiedon temple...beautiful sunset. Lots and lots of people....good walking shoes essential. Magical. After that an option/opportunity to stop for dinner or not. Obviously we all chose to stay together a bit longer and on Eric's recommendations ate some type of pork dish, with several starters, sides, and dessert options at Pezodromos. Every choice...delicious.

Fantastic small group trip - we had 6 guests in total. Our guide Eric was knowledgeable and interesting. The coffee and delicious snack was a great start to the trip, an opportunity to start talking with each other. The swim really was a hidden gem! There are toilets where you can get changed. There is plenty if shade. Poseidon at sunset is spectacular. Lots of other tourists, but still felt peaceful and special. We stopped off for a meal on the way home - yummy and a reasonable price. Thank you Eric for making this trip so enjoyable 😊

Fotis is a fantastic guide - full of stories and enthusiasm. My group and I had a fantastic afternoon on this tour. Fotis is a true expert on the area and took us to some lovely places in addition to Lake Vougliameni and Sounio - including a great beach, bakery and an even better restaurant for dinner!

This was such an amazing tour! Kostas picked us up from our hotel and took us all over the Riviera! It was so cool to get to hear all about the area and Greece from a local. We also loved the snacks and the beach stop. The Temple of Poseidon was breathtaking and the dinner at the end was delicious! Kostas was so amazing and we all felt like friends by the end of the day! 100000% recommend!

This tour was such a lovely way to explore the Athenian suburbs. We chose the afternoon session and the swim stop along the Athenian Riviera was magical as the sun began to set over the water. Kostas was a fantastic tour guide who was able to enrich our experience with first hand stories about the areas we visited. The main event was the Temple visit and WOW, what a sight to behold! It won’t disappoint. We finished our tour with a dinner at a local taverna, which was great. 10 out of 10, would recommend!
