On your way back home, you are invited to go by your own means to taste a sample of the famous Lardo di Colonnata IGP, guide will give you the indication of the place to go.

Serena and Giorgio led an unforgettable tour on, around, and inside one of the mountains of marble in a cool, rugged 4x4. You could never see so much on your own, let alone put together all there is to know about marble quarrying the way Serena did for our group. Highly recommended!

Luca was great. It rained and poured on us, but that didn’t stop Luca from showing us how marble is cut from the mountain. It was amazing to see the marble mountain. This tour was definitely worth it.

We had a great time. The lady who took us was great fun and we learned a lot about the great feat it was to get the marble out and down to Florence.
