This walk is specially designed for beginners and experts. The route will be modulated based on the preparation of the riders and if necessary, before leaving, a small training will be done to review the basic commands and be able to manage the horse independently, enjoying the experience to the fullest. A guide will always follow you on foot or on horseback according to your needs and will be able to help you if necessary to make the experience 100% safe.

SUNSET WALK AT CERTOSA Romantic walk to the Certosa di Calci at sunset. A show between art and nature that will make this experience unforgettable. After a brief alignment in the field and review of the basic commands we will depart from the La Cartuja Equestrian Center to arrive like an ancient traveler at the Certosa di Calci and on the way down we will enjoy the view of a beautiful sunset. From there, walking along the stream, we will return to the riding school at dusk. Useful information: Duration: one hour, variable depending on the season Difficulty: easy Age: 8 years and up English riding Clothing: long trousers and tennis shoes Photoshoot of the experience included CONDITIONS FOR DEPARTURE: Before departure, a field test is scheduled. if the guide believes that the participants are not able to TACKLE the walk, a short training will be carried out before leaving.

3.00Some confusion over booking as asked for shuttle service but was quickly sorted by stables. Was picked up near our hotel but driver wasn't exactly talkative. Asked a question and was replied with a one word answer. Would be nice to have asked us questions like ' where are you from, first time in Italy etc. It was the same on return journey all we got was a 'bye when we got out. The place where the horses are kept definitely needs some maintenance. One of the horses which was retired needs feeding up as was very skinny, I appreciate its old. The others were in fair to good condition. The tack was fair but our horses had two saddle cloths as the saddles were resting on their withers. For those who have never ridden before there was a quick lesson on wooden horses which was very good. The ride was good but wasn't an hour. They take multiple pi tures and send them to you via WhatsApp, a nice touch. I think we are judging on our standards in UK where the horses in summer would have riding fly masks on and fly masks and fly rugs on when in their pens. There were lots of flies and I dread to think what it's like in height of summer. Overall it was value for money but go with your eyes open.

5.00While it is a bit harder for the non local traveler to get to, it was 100% worth going. The horses were amazing and the view during sunset was beautiful. The staff was so kind and helpful, especially with it being my first time on a horse. 10/10 would recommend.

5.00It was great fun for my sister and I, both novices when it comes to horses. The host spoke very good English when giving instructions before the ride. The horses were lovely and I felt quite safe trotting round the town with the guides walking beside. Just remember to arrange the additional transport with the host that is extra but convenient.

5.00We were blown away by this activity, absolutely the highlight of our holiday. The guide showed us all the necessary controls of the horses, which are incredibly well trained and behaved. Our guide also spoke English which was very helpful for us. The countryside was serene and the ride relaxing and in our control, I would highly recommend. We also got the shuttle pick up service which was very convenient as it both collected us and took us back.
