Explore the local community kayaking through the main river Mae Ping in Chiang Mai about 5-6 kilometers latest afternoon through evening till night where pass through the city of Chiang Mai. You will be pick up from your accommodations at 17:00 - 17:30 p.m. only short driven about 20 - 30 minutes to the port. Get introduction what are you expected to explore. Guided sightseeing the biggest old market named Warorot market locally known as Kad Luang and one of the most tourists' attraction event Thai or foreigners. Pass along many colorful restaurants, hotels, bars and crossing under the 3-4 big bridges during busy traffic where there are many of birds' nests. Superb scenery during sunset with plenty of noisy birds flying. Enjoy kayaking about 02:00 hours till 19:30 p.m. exploring local Thai activities and transferred back about 20:00 p.m.

3.00River is basic and lots of trees. Paddling upstream is a challenge if you’ve never been in a kayak before but then when we turn around to go back to pier the current takes you back, and your arms get a break. They do have 1 and 2 person kayaks which isn’t mentioned but is helpful.

1.00Guide left 2people in a boat that struggled and had to turn back. Wasn’t what we expected as only 3km, half of which was upstream and only lasted 1hr. Sunset was lovely though

5.00It was so much fun kayaking down the river! I was picked up from my hotel a few minutes early and then it was just a short ride down to the dock. Once we got there into the water we went and honestly I had a blast our guide was really nice he made a point of talking to all of us and getting some pictures of everyone. All in all I would definitely go again. There are also lockers there to store your stuff so if your like me and will splash yourself a lot you can bring an extra pare of clothes.

5.00I was picked up from the hotel on time and taken to the riverside. The guide was very friendly and spoke English well. We enjoyed around two hours of kayaking on the river while the guide shared insights about Thai culture. The guide accompanied us throughout the ride, and the sunset views were stunning. I highly recommend this experience!

5.00Kayaking on the river was enjoyable. We were stuck in traffic for sunset, which would have been nice to see while on the river, but it was a good experience and very peaceful. The guide, Tono, was kind. Pick up and drop off made it all quite easy. A good time.

5.00The guide is really helpful and friendly and the river is flat and easy to navigate. It’s fun to paddle past the locals out fishing, and when it gets dark the riverside restaurants look really cool all lit up. I definitely recommend this easy, chill paddle up and down the Ping River.
