We spent a long weekend as tourists in Chicago. This tour was a highlight especially due to our guide, Dave Lifton. We enjoyed having a smaller group of 8 participants. The tour touches on all the key things we wanted to see in a day with great bits of historical information from Dave. Excellent food stops and snacks too. We will look for Dave on our next trip.

chicago dave has clearly put a lot of thought into the flow and design of the tour - we loved seeing chicago scenes from famous movies, that was a great added element.

Rich our tour guide was great. Never overwhelmed you with too much information, always gave time for pics, and questions. The pacing of the tour worked well because you never stayed too long at one place. If you are looking for a way to learn about the history of the city, but also want to sample the food it offers, this is the way to go. Plus, you even get to ride the train. Big shout-out to Al who was a guide in training and was very helpful about questions I had about the city as well.

Despite the rain, snow, and the cold. I learned a lot about Chicago. Our tour guide Dash was very knowledgeable about its rich history and he provided us with several “Did you know?” fun facts, which was pretty cool.
