Gaze upon the city sights from the pinnacle of Chicago, the Skydeck. Located on the 103rd floor of Willis Tower, formerly Sears Tower -- the third-tallest building in the world -- the Skydeck offers spectacular sweeping views and is full of interactive exhibits. To complete your exciting Chicago experience, head to the Ledge, a glass balcony showcasing unbeatable views of Chicago’s top attractions like Wrigley Field and the Navy Pier.
We added a brand new Chicago Experience that you start with by the box office prior taking the elevator trip to the 103rd floor. It is a 45,000 sq ft. museum of today. Booked the tickets through Viator was $4 cheaper than booking through Willis Skydeck website. We walked from Union Station to Willis Tower & entered the lower level lobby which was busy with restaurant patrons since it was lunchtime & there were moderately priced burger places to Sushi places. There are immersive exhibits on a very long maze like path leading to the elevator that takes you to the sykdeck, which I wasn't prepared for. I'm not sure if the skip the line ticket holders can skip all that. You have to go through metal detectors at the start. There are gift shops at the LL lobby & on the skydeck. Restrooms are located on Level 1 & there's additional seating on this level. The view from the skydeck is awesome but I personally prefer the view from the Hancock building, but it was my daughter's first visit & she loved it.

There is a lot to see at this location. it's not just about the sky deck. It's a whole experience on the way to the Skydeck. You can take pictures & learn about Chicago's history. We were pressed for time song on when you have time to hang out for a little while if you enjoy history & pictures.

Fun experience. A bit of a wait, but worth it. Great view of the city. Stunning sensory experience I have never experienced before.

They only give you 90 seconds for pics so you have to be fast especially if you take kids. But over all great experience.
