  Visited 3 of the 5 villages using train transportation from La Spezia. Guide was knowledgeable and made traveling to/from port very simple. Wish we had more time at the villages but not an issue with provider, they did what they could given train schedules to maximize our time at the villages.

  The guide, while apparently knowledgeable, chose to not impart much information and virtually no time other than dumping the group into three of the towns and saying we will meet back here at the train station in x minutes. One of the members was urgently seeking a washroom (which are conveniently located on all trains) while waiting for the train and the guide did not tell her about them. At the end, instead of guiding back to the cruise port, left us at the train station to find our own way back.

  Beautiful towns. Excellent guide. Worth taking but be prepared for a lot of walking, both in the towns and also to the train station (if on a cruise)

  Beatrice was an amazing tour leader who accommodated our small group’s whims (only 3 of us) with ease. The Cinque Terre villages were remarkable! Highly recommend!! Beatrice took genuine interest in all of us and her knowledge of both Liguria and Tuscany was great. Her recommendation for gelato in San Gimignano later in our tour was sublime!
