Silver Springs State Park
Where can you kayak or paddleboard and see monkeys, manatees and turtles all on the same day? On our Silver Springs Adventure. We paddle the Fort King paddle trail through lush forest and gorgeous turquoise waters to the spring head. Silver Spring was Florida's first tourist attraction which dates to the 1870s. We'll stop along the way to observe wildlife and make new friendships. The pictures here are stunning!

2.00Unfortunately, this event was overbooked, and there was too many participants . it was not possible to all of us to hear what the guy had to say about the Silver Springs. Even though he tried hard to be informative and entertaining. On top of that, we ended up waiting 35 minutes before the boat launch because of necessity of purchasing the entry tickets to the park.
