Watch live demonstrations illustrating the values of Hoi An’s folk art. Stop at the Japanese Bridge that was constructed more than 400 years ago to connect the Japanese community with the Chinese who lived on the other side of the water. Well organized. Picked up on time. First stop was the Coconut Jungle. Drove to Hoi An Ancient Town. Visited a silk clothing/art store. Stopped at a coffee shop (pay out of pocket) then continue to the Japanese Bridge and other sites. We had about 1 hour on our own before dinner. Food was plentiful and overall good. Fried rice a little bland for my taste but the rest was very good. Drinks not included. After dinner we did the lanterns boats. Guide was Chau Chau and he also takes great pictures. Water provided but it was warm.

Our trip to the Coconut Jungle for a basket boat ride and a day exploring Hoi An Old Town was unforgettable, all thanks to Mr. Long! He was exceptionally friendly and shared a wealth of knowledge about the area’s history and surroundings. We loved how he made the experience so engaging and fun. His passion for the region truly shone through, and he even gave us great local food recommendations that made our day even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and ensured we had the right tickets for all events. However, compared to other tours we’ve taken, he seemed a little distracted at times and needed to be more mindful of the two of us, as we were older and needed more breaks. We also got separated from him a couple of times, which was frustrating considering there were only two of us. With more attention to these details, the experience would have been much smoother. Although they were hard to get in and out of, we enjoyed the coconut boats. The other highlight was putting our lanterns into the river – views were spectacular. We found the night markets a little overwhelming and extremely busy, but I guess that is the nature of markets anywhere in the world. We skipped part of the tour as we had seen silk being made on a previous tour and so appreciated the fact our tour guide showed flexibility in taking us back to a tailor we had visited earlier that day. It was a big walking day!

Tony was the best guide!! So happy we booked a private tour with him so he could tailor it to where we wanted to go. Thank you so much for showcasing how beautiful Hoi An is ! The basket boat tour was fun and relaxing too! Definitely a must do when you’re in Hoi An!
