City and Wine
Visit 2 or 3 artisan, family owned Hungarian winery at the country-side near Budapest. You will meet the winemakers and they will not only present their best wines, but you will be served with home made meal and/or traditional Hungarian flavored bites, depending the option you select. Taste 6-12 glasses wine in total and indulge the best tastes in a genuine Hungarian country-side environment. The Morning tour option offers you a quick journey to the countryside, with the tasting of 8 glasses of wine and completing your experience with a delicious home made Lunch. The Afternoon tour with Dinner option is a full-scale wine and meal experience in the countryside with 12 glasses of wine and a home-made Dinner. The Gastro-Bites with Wine tour offers a nice afternoon excursion to the Wine region where the focus is on showing the unique flavors of the Hungarian kitchen, with home made pate, sausage and many more, accompanied with 6 glassses of quality wine.

5.00Ended up on the evening tour with dinner, led by a wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable guide who kept us entertained and informed throughout. The small artisan wineries and vineyards were a great experience, on our tour we got a young modern winery to start with followed by an old traditional cellar located in a cave! The dinner was excellent, provided essentially from the kitchen of the vineyard owner. Great prices on the wines too compared to the city 👍🏻

5.00The two wineries were fantastic and the lunch was excellent. Host was very informative and was nice to get outside of the city and see some of the countryside and small family wineries.

5.00Our tour guide, Susan, took in all the hiccups of the day in stride! We slept in and had to taxi to meet the group at the first stop and she was very welcoming when we finally joined up and repeating to us some of the information that we had missed. One member of our group was not feeling well at the end of the day and she handled the situation very professionally and with empathy. The afternoon was very relaxing and we enjoyed the different wineries we visited. The tastings were varied and we really enjoyed the homemade lunch.

5.00Very knowledgeable guide. super history lesson on way to vineyards. Loved our stop at both vineyarrds. very well looked after with wine , nibbles and then an unbelievable local lunch. Wow what a stew.

5.00Susan the tour guide was a gem. Great knowledge of Budapest and Hungary. We did the dinner. The stew and cabbage slaw was phenomenal. The cellar owners/hosts were very cordial. We really enjoyed this trip. One note: bring bottle water for the ride Enjoy! Cheers

5.00From being picked up at the hotel until being dropped off at the hotel, we had the best experience with our driver and tour guide. He was knowledgeable about pretty much everything that is to do with hungry and the wine tasting and the lunch were delicious. I would recommend it to anyone.
