  It only went for about 20 mins as the rest of the time was spent sitting around waiting and watching the virtual display. Then we get in the gondola and the gondolier spoke very loudly to his mate in the nearby gondola or to another person on the phone most of the trip. Completely ruined the atmosphere which was otherwise very nice. He also yelled loudly as he wanted us to lean over so the gondola could fit under small bridges. It wasn’t clear and I almost felt the gondola was going to tip. I get they must be sick of tourists but this was my only chance to travel to Italy and tick a few boxes and this jerk spoilt that.

  Great experience most of the time spent on the secondary canals highly scenic Virtual tour was decent, but the route going under the bridge of sighs etc. was superior to most. It was everything we dreamed of.

  We loved the price and experience of the Gondola Ride. We were OK with a shared ride ahead of time since the pirate ones were much higher in cost. We had an AI commentary at the beginning of our ride explaining more about the history of Venice. You could download an app and use the Venice Tours wifi if needed and use that for the ride commentary at various points on the pre planned path. The Gondalier had 2 paths to choose from according to the App marked trail. For Android users, the App is called "Easy Guide", as of Oct 25, the icon has a big heart and reads "I Heart Tourists Guide." May be helpful to download before arrival. Our Gondalier chose a more quiet path for us, and it was nice, although more challenging for him. Our party only asked a couple of questions, which were answered to the best of his knowledge. If looking for something more private, choose another. Overall, this met our expectations for the experience and to say we did it, a win for my wife and I. It had been raining all day, but only misted during our ride.

  Good introduction to Venice with a knowledgeable guide who walked us to the gondola. We were a group of 20 and were grouped in groups of max 5 for each gondola with some being able to be on their own. The canal is quite congested with many gondolas so it is not a peaceful or romantic ride especially with the gondolier who spoke non stop with a fellow gondolier who was ahead of him. It was great to see Venice from this viewpoint but would suggest that if you’re looking for a more quiet gondola ride to go in areas that are more quiet and where there are fewer gondolas available. This means that you would opt for a private ride rather than a tour. It was approximately a 30 minute ride which gave us a good view of the canals. I would have liked to have a commentary about where we were gliding but perhaps it should have been a different tour.

  Tiziana was very enthusiastic, helpful and knowledgeable. The office was very easy to locate and very modern. The communication and organisation of the trip was excellent too. Thoroughly enjoyed the gondola tour too.

  Alvise was great and very knowledgeable and explained us a lot on the city and the history. The gondola trip was very romantic and peaceful. At the end we had a very cool experience of Venice history which was really enriching. The trip was around one hour and it was around 35 to 40 euro each. We were a group of 10 and 5 on the gondola. Thank you very much Alvise!
