  It was fantastic! The time went by so fast. Everyone in our group had fun and enjoyed everything that we did today. Very informative and I learned so much ch about Vietnam. Would do it over again. Our guide, Phuc is the best guide we ever had in all of our travels. He is smart and he knows so much. The job suits him so well. Best guide ever!

• Great Day at Mekong River

  We had a full Day around the Mekong Delta and also the Cu Chi Tunnels. Our guide Lockie was incredible. Great knowledge and fun!

  Unfortunately we had a bad tour guide with a bit too much of a language barrier expected for the industry. He provided very little information and when anybody asked questions he would just answer the wrong thing and repeat the little information he had said. My partner and I found ourselves trying to stick to other tour guides at chu chi to learn information. The Mekong delta part of the tour added 4 1/2 hours and was absolutely not worth it. The boat trip just takes you across the river to a dock on an island on the other side. The river is mostly surrounded by industrial buildings and shipping. On the island you basically feel like you're being hard sold to spend money on local produce which wasn't great. The honey farm was just a quick sit down, taste a little honey then they tried to sell you stuff. Then we stopped at a coconut candy production for 10 minutes to try and again, pressure to buy. Followed by some singers who rotate from table to table, providing an average performance then asking for tips. Finally a short row boat trip which again you are asked for tips. (which was a bit smelly and lots of rubbish along the banks). At the end of the trip the guide asked for a tip which he said is completely optional, but then when leaving again asked if you are tipping. Honestly, go with another chu chi tour and skip Mekong. This was a waste of money which should have been really exciting and informative. The chu chi is worth visiting 100%, just not on this tour.
