5.00Booking through Aaliya tours was the best decision we made! Our first driver Irfan looked after us from Colombo to Nuwara Eliya. He was super professional, knowledgeable and fun! We had a great time, good conversation and learned a lot! He was very flexible and had some great ideas for things to check out along the routes. Aaliya Tours was also able to accommodate our last minute requests for transfers due to the trains not running after the cyclone. The coordinators are great about communicating with us daily to share information and to check in on our experience. Our trip isn't over yet. We have a couple more transfers left and we anticipate the same level of professionalism from our next drivers! Thank you so much Aaliya tours for helping to make our trip to Sri Lanka memorable!

He picked us up on time and took us to Sigriya and Dambulla Cave Temple sharing his knowledge on local ways, pointing out lots of sites we would have missed and drove us very safely. Thanks to Irfan for the mango and red banana stop…..we will never forget the torrential rainfall that fell today but you made it a very successful day for us! Thank you!

5.00Mr Irfan was an excellent and accommodating guide for the day. He picked me up on time and made sure I was able to do things at my own pace throughout. He would stop to point out local wildlife throughout the day and made sure we were back by the time he’d promised earlier. Very friendly guy and a nice day trip despite the awful weather!

5.00Really great day. Our guide Ihran was professional and knowledgeable. The pace was nice and left enough room to wander around as well. The car was clean, safe and comfortable. Ihran went over his way to also show us Sri Lankan wildlife. We saw peacocks, squirrels, parrots, deer and monkeys. I would say this tour is a fantastic, optimized way to see Sri Lanka’s midlands highlights. Would definitely recommend!

5.00A long day but a fantastic day! I only had 5 days to whizz around the Sri Lanka so being able to get to see all 3 sites from Kandy is a fantastic option. Irfan picked me up from my hotel around 6:30am and we got back just before 9pm. Car was clean and Irfan is an experienced driver — very skilled at navigating through the Sri Lankan traffic. Polonaruwa is an amazing place (don’t skip the museum - the models of the structures in their heyday-day are a lovely touch!), and both Sigiriya and Dambulla are incredible too. Irfan didn’t have to, but he is very proud of his country and passionate about sharing Sri Lanka with the world. I learnt a lot about the culture during the car ride and also got some little snacks as well. Thank you very much for the enjoyable day!!

5.00We had the absolute best experience with our tour guide, Irfan. From start to finish he was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the day so enjoyable. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, gave us great insights about the history and culture, and even shared some local tips we wouldn’t have known otherwise. Traveling is always better with someone who genuinely loves what they do, and Irfan truly made our trip memorable. Highly recommend him if you’re visiting!

5.00It was an amazing experience! We loved the 3 heritage places. Our Guide, Mr. Irfan, was fantastic. We learnt so much about history and cultural issues and about wild life in Srilanka. His English is good, better than usually we found in Srilanka, so we can talk easily and ask whatever we want to know. He is also an excelent driver. We were worried with the rain and thunder storm but he was very prudent and drived making us fill safe. He was always very kind also. He gave us the space and the time we needed all the time. He made our day special! And of course the places are beautiful!

5.00This was one of the best experiences I had in Sri Lanka. Irfan was right on time to pick me up from my hotel, and he drove very carefully the whole day, which made me feel safe and relaxed. Along the way, he spotted a wild elephant and stopped so I could see it — such a special moment! He was also happy to stop at different places when I asked to take photos, which I really appreciated. Irfan was very friendly and easy to talk to. He shared so much about the culture, religion, and the temple we visited. You could tell he really knows and cares about what he’s talking about. What made it extra special was that he gave me a small coin as a gift at the end of the trip — such a kind and thoughtful gesture. It was a great day overall. I’d definitely recommend Irfan if you want a meaningful and enjoyable experience in Sri Lanka.
