We had an amazing time. Walid was great he gave us all the information we needed and smoothly drove us all through Alexandria telling us about each location and helping us with whatever we needed. If you are wondering who to book with definitely book will Walid you won’t be disappointed. My fiance and I had the best day! From Giza to Alexandria
If you value your life, don’t take this tour. It ruined our last day and scared the hell out of us.

This was our last day in Egypt and we made a huge mistake putting in the hands of Emo Tours. We started at our hotel in Cairo finding that our driver spoke zero English on this English tour. We found ourselves not trying to translate via phone so we didn’t distract him from driving in the crazy traffic of Cairo. Less than 20 minutes in, we were waiting at a gas station which took 20 minutes followed by our driver going to the vape shop. We did get him to buy us two waters after telling him that it was supposed to be provided. Took just under 4 hours to get to Alexandria where we met our guide that spoke English but was impersonal and didn’t understand the questions we ask. She took us to an ally restaurant that was horrible and the dish was a few dollars a person. The bowl was Un eatable. We paid $30 extra for that and pretty sure she pocketed the rest. We didn’t have enough time to see the mosque for some reason. After getting another 9 liters of fuel, the worst and most dangerous part of our trip happened. Our driver kept falling asleep on the way back. I finally told him to pull over and drink coffee which he did but no coffee. After assuring me he was fine, we continued. If you value your life, don’t take this tour. It scared the hell out of us on our last day!

Excellent time with Mahmoud! He’s very knowledgable and introduces you to his hometown with passion. I loved every stop and every explanation. After lunch we had tea at a local coffee shop. I felt like a true local.

The tour guide was nice, but the guide and information provided kind of felt brief and rushed, and I had to keep asking for more time at each place (the actual total “tour time” excluding lunch and the car ride was just around 3 hours), as if the tour guide really wanted to go home. Besides, even though I booked a private tour, the car for the transfer was not in a good condition, not even remotely close to “vehicles of the newest models” as they advertised. But at least the driver was punctual and quite friendly. Another minor things is that bottled water was not provided as mentioned. But overall, I think it’s still worth the 6-hour car ride to get see Alexandria.

Our guide Ahmed was knowledgeable. There was no force selling, driver didn’t ask for tips. After all We still tip him since he was trying to do a good job by providing good service.
