The nature lover´s paradise including Super Jeep action. Thorsmork or Þórsmörk lies in between mountains and glaciers carved out by weather and natural disasters through centuries. It is truly a paradise worth visiting. The Super Jeep helps getting you there safe and sound on its big tires.

The Super Jeeps are specially modified here in Iceland to get you to remote areas regular cars can´t go. Nowhere else in the world you have the opportunity to get in one of those Jeeps and traverse through rough terrain and splashing in glacial rivers. Don´t let it slip you by!!!

The beautiful, 60 meters tall Seljalandsfoss is one of the most popular waterfalls in Iceland and it’s one of Iceland’s most photographed natural wonders.

Volcano Eyjafjallajokull

Next, we will continue our way in the direction of Thorsmork and head all the way up to Gígjökull, one of the outlet glaciers of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano. You can walk entirely to the icefall edge, touch and walk on the glacier. The many craters of this eruption was near to Gígjökull. This caused floodwater to surge from under the glacier’s tongue, flooding the Markarfljót river that flows from it.

I really loved the experience! The landscapes along the journey were amazing and the spots we've been were simply breathtaking and magical. Heimir was also a great guide, he told us a lot of interesting facts about the places and it was really great to know things from an Icelander, that have known those places for a long time, and could tell us about how landscapes changed over the years. It was really interesting. I also loved the way Heimir was able to tailor the trip according to us. I really recommend this trip, especially if you like nature and tours without so many people.

EPIC DAY and tour! Nico was AMAZING and so was our group! Absolutely beautiful and a MUST DO on your visit to Iceland! The hike was beautiful, the river crossings were a blast and waterfalls were perfection!

Stunning views of glaciers, waterfalls, and valleys with short hikes and walks. The super Jeep was comfortable and beefed up to traverse rough dirt roads and stream beds easily. On this trip there were only four tour guests so it was like semi-private. There were no crowds or tourist traps in the stops. The tour guide knew the area well and was informative. He even stopped at the Blue Lagoon so we could see what it was really like (Exterior view is worth a thousand words). So, if you want to see nature and real Iceland (back country) that is accessible without the crowds, this is one of the tours for it.

the tour was really nice, the tour guide had very interesting stories, was cracking jokes and giving us a lot of information as well as fun facts. even though the weather was cruel today, my experience was amazing :) id surely recommend anyone whos planning on visiting Iceland and is interested in volcanos, or even if you arent, its still an unforgetable experience!

This tour was the highlight of my trip. Magnus was an amazing guide. I learned so much about Iceland and appreciated his personal stories and obvious love for his native country. The scenery was breathtaking and magical, and the vehicle so much more comfortable than other tours. Worth the extra cost. I am from Colorado and highly value nature. I appreciated having a day with fewer crowds. If I find myself back in Iceland again, I may do this tour again!

This tour took us off the beaten path. Tinna was very knowledgeable- filled us with lots of information about Iceland. She took us through the river to a spectacular waterfall. It was a great adventure.

Booked at the last minute and so happy I did. This turned out to be one of the best tours of my trip. Significantly fewer people in this valley due to lack of paved (and dry!) roads. The guide, Nikolaus, was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. He even took us to a black sand beach to see an old shipwreck, and a great view of the Westman Islands.
Highlights beyond tourist hotspots. Highly recommended!

Great tour with unimaginably beautiful scenery, hidden highlights beyond tourist hotspots that you don't necessarily get to see otherwise. Especially recommended for Iceland travelers who have been there before and want something new. Qualified, helpful, experienced and friendly guide. Participants should bring a bit of fitness, it is also on foot in rough terrain!
