At first, your tour guide will guide you on a 20-minute cycling journey from the busy city center to the stunning rural area of Hoi An. During the journey, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of the surroundings, including beautiful and peaceful natural scenes such as rice fields, buffaloes, cows, and rivers, as well as receive warm smiles and greetings from local residents. Then, we will visit Huynh Ry’s handicraft workshop. You will see talented craftsmen carving furniture items from wood and creating pretty cute souvenirs. You will also have the chance to try your hand at wood carving by sculpting your own name and then bring your creation home with you. Lastly, learning how to make rice paper-noodles and weave sleeping mats with locals in their houses. They will demonstrate the process step by step, and then you will have the opportunity to try it yourself.

I had a fantastic experience on this bicycle tour! Our guide Cuong was not only knowledgeable about the entire itinerary, but also shared interesting facts about the island along the way, which really added depth to the experience. Cuong was super friendly and approachable, making the whole tour feel enjoyable. One of the highlights was when he took us to his family’s café overlooking a rice field. The coffee there was excellent, easily one of the best I had during my trip. He also helped me to locate a replacement bicycle when the chain broke unexpectedly when crossing a bridge. Booking this tour was easy with quick response time. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a mix of local culture but be prepared for hot weather especially along the sea side.

Such a lovely morning cycling with Tommy through Hoi An and Kim Bong Village. We visited the carpenters, watched them make rice paper noodles, and also watched mat weaving in the village. We could never have accessed these places on our own. It was very relaxed and a wonderful value. Tommy was a fantastic host & guide. One of our favourite things we have enjoyed in lovely Hoi An. Thank you Tommy.

Really appreciate Tommy for guiding us to enjoy three hands-on experience at a small village near Hoi an old town. It was fun and authentic. Tommy was friendly and helpful. A tip, need to have some courage to brave the traffic at Hoi An town while cycling.

The absolute highlight of our Hoi An trip. This was something entirely new, we got to hangout and talk to the locals, practice mat weaving, wood carving and cooking rice noodles. It was such a special experience with our excellent Hoi An local tour guide, Tommy. He has a lot of interesting insights about the vietnamese culture and customs, we learned a lot from him. If you have 3 hours, can somehow remember how to ride a bike and a thirst for new adventure. Don't miss this tour out!

Excellent tour, with our guide Tommy! Highly recommended! We went to the carpenter and fish village and also learned how to make rice noodles. Kids bicycles are available. Our kids (7 and 10) loved the weaving and wood carving! This tour was the cheapest we found, but we did everything the other tours did as well.

Nice bike ride with guide Tommy who knew a lot to tell. Visit different people's homes in the countryside where they made mats, worked wood and made rice noodles and rice pancakes. In all places you could also try this yourself. Fun to do, especially with children. The bike ride was doable and went through small streets afterwards. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience! Our guide was very kind and made a real connection between us and the locals. The bike ride through nature was peaceful and beautiful. Trying wood carving and making homemade noodles were truly unforgettable. Such a warm and special tour. Highly recommended! :))

Fantastic experience! What a great way to get to know the city and its people! Tommy was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He clearly enjoyed sharing the stories of his city and his culture with me. The tour was such a nice way to explore the local area, and each home we visited was friendly and interesting!
