The second day will be dedicated to your total relaxation. You will stay at a charming 3-star hotel or superior and enjoy all its amenities.
Note for hotel accommodation: Children 12 years or younger will be accommodated in their guardian's hotel room. Passengers aged 12+ can be accommodated in a separate room. All rooms are double occupancy.

From Guatemala City to Tikal

Guatemala City
We will start this tour early in the morning. We will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel and take you to La Aurora International Airport to take the commercial plane that will take you to Peten, the department where the ancient Mayan city of Tikal is located.
Once you arrive at Mundo Maya International Airport in Peten, one of our tour guides will be waiting for you at the exit with a sign with your name on it. Then he will take you to a restaurant where you can have breakfast and recharge your batteries for this wonderful first day.
Tikal National Park
Finally, we will arrive at the Tikal National Park. This place is a natural and cultural heritage of humanity and we are happy to give you the best tour of this magical and wonderful place. It was inhabited from the VI century BC. until the X century AC. It is composed of monumental architecture and buildings that include palaces, temples, ceremonial platforms, small and medium residences, ball game courts, terraces, roads, and large and small plazas. Many of the monuments preserve decorated surfaces, such as stone sculptures and wall paintings with hieroglyphic inscriptions that illustrate the dynastic history of the city and its relationships with urban centers as far away as Teotihuacan and Calakmul in Mexico, Copan in Honduras, or Caracol in Belize.

After our tour of the Tikal Mayan kingdom, we will go to the restaurant area where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. You will have options to choose from. At the end of the day, we will go to the hotel so you can refresh yourself and enjoy the hotel amenities. Relax and prepare for the next day.
Day of Relaxation at your Hotel
Peten Department
The second day will begin after you hear the singing of the birds that live in the natural area that surrounds the hotel. Enjoy a breakfast full of flavor and enjoy the amenities offered by the hotel. In the afternoon have lunch at the hotel.
Finally, our staff will take you to the Mundo Maya International Airport entrance so that you can take your flight back to Guatemala City.
Once you arrive in Guatemala City after your one-hour flight, our bus pilot will be at the exit waiting for you with a sign with your name on it.
