Keikko was amazing-very knowledgeable about the local shops, history and community, and a wonderful Tanukikoji guide! We got to try sencha expertly prepared by a local shop owner, and a few other local spots including Nijo market. We were also looking for some specific souvenirs and she was very patient and helpful in searching various shops for them (we speak maybe 5 words of Japanese between us, so English attempts would have been sadly limited if she wasn’t able to help). Keikko went above and beyond-we wanted to end our tour with a lunch at a seafood restaurant frequented by locals and she even stayed after our tour to help us order! 🤩 Highly recommend her, this tour, and this company 💯
