Escape the city and spend a day in the Dolomite Mountains on a full-day trip from Venice! With an expert driver-guide to tell you all about the region, you’ll see one of the area’s finest lake, Lake Misurina, headed up by the heart-stopping Tre Cime di Lavaredo peaks from various viewpoints. Enjoy lunch in a traditional ‘trattoria’ (own expense), soak up the scenery on a bracing mountain walk, and then enjoy free time to explore the chic ski resort town of Cortina d’Ampezzo.
In winter months the Dolomites Day tour from Venice will feature Cortina, the picturesque Braies Lake and San Candido, one of the most beautiful South Tyrolean villages in the Dolomites.

The visit to the foothills of Tre Cime di Lavaredo is seasonal (end of May to October) subject to weather conditions. When it is not possible to access it, you will spend more time in Cortina instead

At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time

IIn winter months this tour will feature San Candido and Lake Braies instead of Tre Cime di Lavaredo and Lake Misurina.
All passengers pay the same rate irrespectively from their age

Due to safety reasons, Avventure Bellissime reserves the right to decline embarkation on the tour of children that have not been notified/registered during the reservation. NO refund is due in this situation.

Too much car time, not enough explanation

3.0010 hour trip to see the Dolomites, which were beautiful. However, 70% of the time was spent in the car. 3 out of 4 of our family members got carsick, and at times the driving did not feel safe. At each place we had about 2 minutes of explanation. Our driver/guide was very friendly and respectful, but this experience was not worth the cost.

5.00We had a lovely day being driven from Venice to the Dolomites by Marco. Communication prior to the tour was excellent, and Marco was so personable and provided interesting information about the area as we made our way to and through the Italian Alps. He made many stops for photographs and booked us lunch at a restaurant near a small lake. We loved the walk around the lake after lunch! He was also sensitive to the needs of our group that included both children and seniors.

5.00This tour is a MUST. Sadly, I cannot recall our guides name but he made the entire trip such a pleasure. He was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and funny. We made a few stops to stretch our legs and take many many photos. We stopped to have lunch and with free time we took a ski chair lift to a restaurant at the top of the lift and took many more photos and had coffee. After the chair lift back down we ate lynx at an advised restaurant and I swear I had the best sandwich I think I have ever had in my life. Super basic. SUPER DELICIOUS. Next we went to Cortina where in 1956 the Winter Olympics were held and went to the site of where the ski jumping competitions were held. In 2026, some of the Winter Games competitions will again be held in Cortina so much work is underway to compete competition there. It was extremely exciting to know the Games are going to be held there, and we were there. I will definitely be watching to see if I can see any sites on TV. The entire area reminds me of Switzerland, the buildings the environment, incredible. A MUST TRIP!!!!!! Again I’m so sorry I cannot recall our guides name, but he made the trip extremely memorable.

5.00Do not miss this experience! The Dolomite Mountains and surrounding areas are truly breathtaking. The beautiful nature, the amazing florals, and the gorgeous mountains. will leave you in awe! Marco, our tour guide was excellent, funny and gave wonderful information about the area and the small towns. The past history of the Olympics being held in the area is also remarkable. The shops and the restaurants provided excellent service and excellent food. I would strongly recommend the small tour group. The van provided was comfortable and made the trip so much more enjoyable than being on a bus.
