Leaving from Porto, meet your tour guide at 08:30 a.m and travel to the beautiful Douro Valley in a comfortable climatized vehicle.
After the first stretch of the journey you will be visiting a small family owned vineyard, with a wine tasting of their own production.
Next enjoy a scenic drive through the world famous National Road 222, to the heart of the Douro Valley (Pinhão) where we will embark on the unique experience of doing a short 45 min cruise in the Douro River, to soak in the beautiful landscape while admiring the terraced hills with the quintessential vineyards and estates that turn the margins of the Douro River into one of the most unique in the world.
Then, in order to complete this experience, enjoy a traditional lunch in a vineyard of a small-medium producer, finishing with a delicious port wine tasting, at their cellars.
After a full day of exploration and discovery, relax and enjoy your journey back to Porto.

Parents should bring the baby car seat ajusted to infant's age (1 to 3 years old). We only have seats available after 4 years old.
This tour may be done in two languages. We try to avoid it, but sometimes we have no other solution.
Private option it's done in a private vehicle only with your private guide. The vineyards and rest of the locations are shared with other participants.
For lunch we provide meat, fish, vegan and vegetarian option.
Reschedulings with less than 24 hours before the start of the tour will be charged a 30% fee (subject to availability);
We do not recommend that you book or schedule different activities at the end of the tour. Although the tour may last 9/10 hours, the duration may vary depending on traffic conditions and other factors.
Please be aware that the activities which we visit, such as vineyards, restaurants, etc, are subject to 3rd party availability and other groups/participants may be with the your group during the experience.
Schedules and Itinerary may change without prior notice.
The pick-up service is only available for the ones that choose the option "Small Group Tour - Up to 8 people" and "Private Tour".
Please make sure that you have breakfast. Keep in mind that we probably will only stop at the first activity. We may not have time to make a pit stop before arriving to the first vineyard.
On the private option infants or childrens must be booked as an individual adult/place. Prices shown are per group/vehicle.

5.00The wine tour is operated by EFun Tours, we visited Douro Valley on 26 Dec and it was amazing trip for wine newbies. Itinerary was Pickup spot to 1st wine taste, boat ride, lunch then 2nd wine taste before back to pickup spot. Special shoutout to Tiago, Joal and Luka (EFunTour tour guides, sorry if misspell) for making the trip smooth and fun. The 2 vineyard visit (Quinta de Sequeiros and Casa dos Barros) and the amount of wine tasting is just the eye-opening sweet spot for an asian newbie that can't hold liquor well (if u do drink just ask for more!) Tips for new travelers is that the winding roads from Porto to the vineyards at Douro Valley (1hr+ car ride along famous Port Nacional 222, passing the tunnel of alleged Fast and Furious X tunnel scene) are not fun for people sensitive to car-sickness, it is good to prepare pills in advance but you won't be able to enjoy the tasty ports.... (don't mix car-sick pills with alcohol!) Car ride back was highway road so it was smooth with Christmas traffic.
Lovely day tour to different wineries! Must-do!

5.00We had an absolutely brilliant day on this winery tour. From start to finish it was relaxed, fun, and full of great wine. The atmosphere was perfect and everything was very well organised, making it easy to just enjoy the experience. A special mention goes to our tour guide, Rita, who was an absolute gem. She broke the ice straight away, made everyone feel comfortable, and brought such great energy to the group. You could really tell she loves what she does, and that made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Lots of laughs, excellent wine, and a genuinely memorable day. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Portugal and want a fun, authentic winery experience! 🍷✨

5.00Highly recommend. Douro Valley is beautiful. Tiago was great and explained the history of the area along the way. Luca was an excellent driver! The wineries were very different and provided a nice comparison.

5.00Fun day out! Sara our guide was lovely and lots of fun! I liked the two vineyards and that the second one had a mix of wine and port. And the lunch was fantastic. The boat was good, although bring layers of you want to sit outside!

5.00Tiago and Lucas, our guide and driver, were amazing! They made the tour fun and educational. Our tour was on New Years Eve. It was supposed to be on the 30th, but they over booked and emailed to see if we could switch days. It worked out perfectly for us to wait the extra day. We didn't know what to expect with traffic and availability of Metros getting to and from Lago do Lapa (the pick up/drop off point) on NYE, but we had no problems. The wine/port tastings and lunch were great. I can't tell you my favorite location or wine/port because each winery had a fantastic selection and i liked at least a couple at each. It was very cold and overcast and I was concerned about the boat ride. They had inside and outside options. So, sitting inside was a must for us. While it was still chilly, it was just fine with our jackets. Because it was just overcast and not raining, the views were spectacular. The accompanying audio (take your headset) was quite informative. Our party consisted of a four person family including a 14 yr old and a 76 yr old. All four of us had a great time and were able to participate in the experience. If you have very young children they may get bored with the long ride from and back to Porto. And it may be difficult for people with mobility considerations. For example, at the first winery, we had to walk for about 5-7 minutes up/down a country road to get to and from the winery and tasting room. We did have to go slower for our Grandpa. But, he's fit and mobile, so not a concern for us. Using this example as well, it's best to wear sensible and comfortable shoes since you're walking on a gravel road. All in all it was a fabulous experience! We highly recommend.
