This overnight desert safari in Dubai is for those who want to ‘live’ desert life in real life! Experience desert delights viz. dune bashing, camel riding, camping, bbq dinner with dance shows and stargazing with a telescope, and above all, stay overnight with a sunrise camel trek.

Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness

It is highly recommended that you eat 2-3 hours before the safari trip to avoid sickness during the dune bashing.

We highly recommend having international travel insurance, as self-driving activities carry inherent risks that may lead to serious injury. Coverage for such incidents is typically provided only through your personal insurance.

All desert safari drivers are well trained and licensed for safari drives. The 4WD vehicles are fully insured and well equipped with all necessary safety features, such as roll bars, seat belts, government trackers, GPS, GMS, and a First Aid box

OceanAir Travels shall not be responsible for any kind of loss, accident, sickness or injury.

Please wear sports shoes for safe sand boarding.

Casual, loose fitting clothing is recommended in the summer, along with a jacket in the winter

Please note that if your skin is sensitive to henna, it is advised not to do it.

Entertainment activities:- As per UAE law during the holy month of Ramadan and other religious holidays you can watch Tanoura and Fire shows only in our desert camps (Al Khayma) as there will be some restrictions for Ladies Khaliji Dance.

Luggage is not permitted during the tour; only a small backpack is allowed.

Pickup will be 45min prior to your selected departure time. Please be ready at the hotel lobby on time

A passport copy is required for all tourists and IDcard copy is required for all residents (Soft or hard copies are accepted)

Pick-up timing is subject to change due to the emerging summer heat: 1 hour earlier in the morning and 1 hour later in the afternoon. A notification shall be sent in advance in the case of any change.

If your departure flight is on the same day, please make sure to check the time carefully and inform us in advance.

By UAE law, pregnant ladies, anyone with back or neck pain, heart problems or other serious medical complaints and infants (under 3 years old) are not allowed during the dune bashing activity by car. (If this conditions are applicable to you, please contact our Consultant to customize your tour

We will first pick you from your hotel or location in a comfortable 4WD vehicle and will journey to the Lahbab desert. A short break... Once at the desert, we will take a 20 minutes break before your safari starts. You can relax there, availing bathroom / toilet facilities or opting a Quad bike ride, while we prepare our vehicle for the off-road dune drive.

Desert adventure time... Soon we go for a dune bashing ride that lasts 30-45 minutes. You can feel that peculiar excitement as your Land Cruiser climbs up and slides down the sand dunes. Then try the adventure sport - desert dubai sandboarding. Stand on the wooden board provided, balance yourself and glide over the desert sands.

This was such an adventure, great value for money and excellent planning and co-ordination. Food was the best we have had in Dubai, everything advertised was available. Thank you so much, can’t recommend this enough.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on this tour. The company communicated the pickup time to us through multiple text messages. Our friendly and attentive tour guide, Imran, arrived promptly at our hotel for the scheduled pickup and provided us with detailed information about the tour itinerary. The tour began with an ATV ride, but we chose to skip it. Imran skillfully drove us through the dune desert, which made me feel like I was having a heart attack. Although I experienced a headache after the ride, I quickly recovered and was ready to continue. The scenery was perfect for taking pictures. Next, our itinerary took us to a camp where we participated in various activities, including a Falcon, a horse, and a camel show, which was quite a mystery. The highlight of the evening was the thrilling fire show, accompanied by a delicious dinner. After the fire show, most attendees departed, those of us staying overnight began our experience with stargazing, enjoying an incredible view of the moon and Saturn. We also experienced what life was like for Bedouin living in a tent, which was quite comfortable. Early the next morning, we enjoyed a fantastic camel ride and took amazing photos. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience!

We absolutely loved it, this was a highlight of our trip to Dubai. Our guide Imran was very knowledgeable and took great care of us and 3 other travellers. The sand dune bashing and sand surfing was lots of fun, as well as the other activities and dinner entertainment (great fire show; would have loved to also see some belly dancers but that wasn't part of the programme). I think the best bits happened after dinner though, once the day groups had left for the day. While the sky was too hazy to see many stars (that's apparently normal in the Dubai desert, so don't expect to see lots of stars!), the telescopes provided where so strong that we were able to see Saturn with its rings, and even take a picture of it on our phones. The tents for the overnight stay were much more luxurious than I expected, including air conditioning. And the sunrise camel ride was my favourite bit and highly recommended. A fantastic experience all around!
Must do- if riding a camel is on your bucket list this is the place

Very nice staff Food was medium good, but hard to expect 5 stars with such a large crowd to feed If you do the overnight tent, expect a long delay after show to when your tent is ready Camel ride is just amazing- seriously makes the excursion!

One of the most wonderful experiences of our lives. The food was delicious and abundant, the show amazing, the service exceptional, the overnight in the tent comfortable and unforgettable with towel, toiletries, clean and private. Our highlight was the astronomy hour with Karim who was very knowledgeable and entertaining. A special thanks to our caretaker Dhruba for the exceptional friendly service and amazing breakfast with his team. Our highlight was the camel ride during sunrise and our amazing camel guide turned photographer and videographer.

Wajahat picked us up, provided water and made sure we were comfortable. Along the way he educated us on the local history which we thought was very interesting. He took us dune bashing (quad riding & sand boarding) which was a lot of fun. He also took great photos of us! The staff is really friendly and accommodating. We stayed the night in the tents which were unique and comfortable. Druba looked after our needs in the evening and was really helpful. The dinner and breakfast was delicious with plenty of snacks in between. Our highlight was the morning camel ride - so much fun and a beautiful time of day. Also to see a falcon up close was amazing. It was a memorable experience. Highly recommended

People were very friendly and accommodating! Recommend for all ages and the food just kept being given. The atmospheres were definitely more relaxing and pleasant. The stargazing was lovely with a humorous guide. The vendors were lovely and the girls doing the henna was so friendly.

This was a fantastic experience, all our guides (Naveed and others) gave us exceptional service. very memorable to see the desert sunset, see stars through a telescope, have a sunrise camel ride (our guide helped us take amazing photos and was awesome!) and to sleep overnight in the desert (altho bathing facilities not so nice). Recommended!

We had an amazing time. The food was incredible, the shows very entertaining and the activities very thrilling. If you are only allowed to do one thing in Dubai, this is the excursion to book.

This excursion is meant for couples and family. If you’re a solo traveler like me don’t waste your time. Food was spectacular and fire show was awesome. In between that though it’s pretty mid.
