Our Tour guide was Beatrice she was punctual and the meeting place was well defined and easy to find. She spoke very good English she provided us with earphones so we could clearly hear what she was saying. She was lovely , nice and cheerful. The tour took us around the major locations in the city. Beatrice was enthusiastic and keen to share about all aspects of the history of Vienna from ancient times to more modern history. We really enjoyed our tour and it gave us solid grounding to understand more when visiting the museums and attractions I would suggest if you have little knowledge of the history of Vienna then make this tour your first experience it will totally enhance your visit. We can highly recommend the 2 and a half hours you spend with Beatrice

This was a lovely way to see Vienna! Both knowledgeable and interesting, our tour guide, Dace, provided details we wouldn't have known on our own. The group size was nice -- not too big and not too small. We also had a delayed flight, and Dace worked with us to reschedule the tour. She was so kind. I highly recommend this as a way to get an insider's view of Vienna!

Amazing stories, great guide whose family has been in Vienna for centuries. Not the typical encyclopedia stuff but all personal stories you can't find easily online. Like the cafe where Freud used to frequent, the apartment that Beethoven used to rent, local legends, even the waltz that Strauss wrote for her great great ... great grandmother's wedding. The highlight of my trip to Vienna.

This was almost 3 hours of information and walking. We learnt a great deal from Beatrice. We covered around 4kms of ground and a lot of beautiful sites were seen and explained to us. We can definitely recommend this tour with Beatrice.

The guide provided great information at the start of the tour regarding the war whilst we stood in a few historical sites. However, the tour costs £70 ($140) which is quite expensive given all the buildings we went into were free (ie.. no overheads). When I do waking tours, I want to be immersed in local culture, history and see all the important buildings in the old town. Unfortunately there was a lot places we visited that was quite boring. Parks that were not necessarily, or into a cafe that I had no interest seeing. Sometimes it felt like we were “killing time” for the 2.5 hours. I did enjoy seeing where Beethoven lived. Anyways, I have been on walking tours all around the world and I really felt this was not worth the money and time. It was quite disappointing and underwhelming. Most of it you could just do yourself and research the history after which is what I did. Additionally, we ended the tour at the most important (and beautiful) building in the city, St George’s Cathedral and the history was skimmed over. The area was packed by then and it was raining, so not ideal. Perhaps they could rethink the route taken to encompass the more important buildings. Just a thought.
