Maria-Theresien-Platz is a large public square between Ringstrasse and the Museumsquartier. Facing each other from the sides of the square are two twin buildings, the Natural History Museum and the Art History Museum. Square is decorated by the grand statue of empress Maria Theresa.

The guide was so knowledgeable. We felt very lucky to get so much information from her in a short amount of time. The tour was interesting and just the right length. We saw the major highlights but it didn’t go on longer than it needed to. We left awe struck with the beauty of the city and the guide’s knowledge. We received recommendations on places we will return to, restaurants etc, and a great overview of the old city.

We enjoyed our guided walking tour of Vienna’s historic centre with Dace. She was personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable – a good guide to spend time with. This was our first tour using headsets, which worked well technically, but did slightly change the dynamic. With Dace speaking continuously, even between stops, we found the experience a bit more one-sided and less interactive than we’re used to. We prefer tours where you stop, get insight, and then have a chance to reflect and chat with others. That said, the content and delivery was very good, and we learned a lot. It was pricey versus the tour of the same length we did a day earlier
